Where to get makeup containers? You can eBay makeup containers www.ebay.com/sc... or googlie whole makeup packaging like this one www.makingcosme...
♥Materials Used can be purchased at Drugstore and Craft Store like AC Moore:
-Eye shadow or pigment. I used MAC Madly Personal Pigment.
-Carrier Oil: Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, or Olive oil that can be found at the grocery/drugstore. Also shop here:www.google.com/... and www.soapgoods.c...
-Wax: Soy, Bees, Candelilla, or Carnauba that you can find at the craft store that make candles or here: www.amazon.com/... and www.soapgoods.c...
-Metal Spoon (I used a metal tablespoon)
    -Measuring Spoon
-Heat: Candle or Stove Top. If you use a microwave then melt wax in a microwave safe container.
-Container (I used a MAC Skinfinish Compact)
    -Refrigerator
-OPTIONAL: ADD VITAMIN E OIL AS A NATURAL PRESERVATIVE TO EXTEND YOUR CREAM BLUSH EXPIRATION
    ♥My Recipe:
-1/4 to ½ TSP of Wax (The more wax you add, the more solid the cream blush will be.)
-1/2 to 1 TSP of Carrier Oil
-1/4 to 1 TSP of Eye Shadow or Pigment (The more you add, the more pigmented the blush will be.)
-Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes or until the cream lush becomes solid and ready to use
    -Expiration: 1 year
-Make TWO average size cream blushes
-Cost $2-5 for TWO average size cream blushes that is dependent on quality of eye shadow/pigment.
Makeup brush used? MAC 188 stippling brush
Setting Powder? MAC Medium Skinfinish with Sedona Lace Kabuki Brush

If you dont want to add a checmical preservative..make sure that you are not using products with a short shell life to make this cream blush. shell life of a product determines the shell life of your DIY project. Jojoba never gets old but if using any other product with a short shell life...that will be the shell life of your product

would if you don't have wax

  • @BeautySplurge
    @BeautySplurge  12 років тому +1

Yes, you can substitute wax with crayon and you don't have to worry about those ingredients if you are just applying it on your cheeks as a blush buy not on lips and eyes. To melt in a microwave, heat in 30 seconds burst until it is all melted.

Mac is expensive and the color if Mac eyeshadow is perfect and the expiration and how long it will last is all false cauz no normal person would use a Mac eyeshadow so u dont know how long it will last and if the color Is gonna look that pretty

It's probably sheer because you are use a pigment that has more mica which gives a shimmer look. Go for matte or add some titanium dioxide to make it opaque. I talked more abut that in my lipstick tutorial.

You can also use craft bead containers. You get like 20 or something for $5 and they look like clear lip balm containers;) Also can shop online for makeup compacts for cheap on eBay or wholesale container supply. Google makeup containers and you will have a lot of online links to shop for compacts.
