Casey, Iam not sure how they check, I've never had them check my bow. But I don't want to do anything that I know is not allowed. And I believe the 80% mods should be a little quicker.
I have seen this issue brought up by many people. I did however get my hands on a Defcon M6Z last year, the draw cycle is outstanding and made me thoroughly enjoy the bow as for speed idk tho.
The lawless is coming in around 358-360.. The FX6 is coming within 2-3fps if it’s ibo and so is the FX7 and FXL. I’d never get the lawless considering the one we shot was the same speed as the fx6! The fx7 @ 347-348 is an awesome bow. 90% letoff with these speeds is amazing. I still like the Vertix and Prime CT5 the most though
Love there bows, ( have a Phoenix now) bad thing is, Colorado and few other states you can't use 90% let off. In Colorado has to be no more then 80%. Other wise I would love to try one of these !
Daemon I’ve heard nothing but good things about the people at obsession, everyone I’ve talked to loves they’re bow. I haven’t owned one but it will be my next bow.
So, we wrestle with that. The issue is, this video lives forever, while prices change. And believe me, if we list a price in the video, and the actual price changes, we will hear about it. We figure customers can go to Obsession's website, or ours to check current pricing.
@@LancasterArcherySupply Understood. But to say something like "All of these bows are being introduced at $999 each, of course prices are subject to change." With other flagship bows tipping closer to $2k now, a lot of guys would probably be interested instead of not knowing and brushing it off as just another bow they can't afford
@@wyckedan they have been 999$ for years. They have stayed there when most people have went up. Not saying they will not this year but in the past several they have not changed it.
From research not sure about their fps??? Different arrow weight gn to fps are all over the place. Different reviews throwing up all sorts of numbers... strange
Machines, I don't think so. Obsession is over rated junk. They even look like Chinese. They maybe from ohio, but I bet China is making the bows for them.
It appears Obsession is inflating the speeds of their bows and I am willing to put money on that the 370 speed they advertise for the Lawless is more like 350 but I would even put money that its not over 340. I think all their bows are overinflated and also the bow physical weight. Yeah, I won't be buying their bows
How come on every review nobody says anything really negative about the bow ... for once I would like to hear ya know what this bow sucks not worth the money
I understand as a company your not gonna say anything negative about the products your selling because you want to sell them ... I meant in general with all bow reviews . Since I cant shoot every flagship bow from every company as a consumer we rely on some information to see if the bow is worth searching for and trying out ..

They couldn't get anymore speed nocks on the string?
Obsessions are great looking and shooting bows but have historically fallen well short of rated IBO’s. Did you chrono any of these yet?
Im not sold on the looks of them but each to their own I guess
They did a video getting 365 fps with 71 pound draw, 350 grain arrows and a 29.5 inch draw on the lawless.
Saw the video, still not sure.

In Germany, Bowhuntig isn't allowed, so you are still lucky.
They also offer 80% mods
How is this tested in the field per say? Do GW’s carry around hanging scales or something? Seems like something you could get away with.
@@HankShivers And what if you just pull a couple pounds harder? Then you at under 80%
Does anybody have an opinion on long term reliability and customer service from Obsession?

Anybody having trouble center shooting their FXL?
you forgot over all weight of the bare bow ,,,,,,,,
I believe MSRP IS 999.99 for the four he showed.
I think only the lawless is that much ( the others may not be far behind)
LOL when you hit full draw the riser goes into a death wobble.
Aaron Ward l think that is just the way he draws
You forgot their msrps

I'm sure they can reach 370. They just need to find a drinking straw long enough to shoot.
You should shoot one before you bash it. They are smooth great shooting bows. And it seems all manufacturers inflate there speeds.
The Archerytalk channel just speed tested the Lawless and came up with about 345 IBO
