I had the privilege of riding in a 757-300 back in November due to a delay (originally was gonna be a 737-900). As an AvGeek it was absolutely the greatest flight ever. Even for a fully booked flight you could feel just how powerful the engines are. The landing gear height made landing feel like a bird of prey swooping in. It was amazing. Only lame part was getting off. 230 or so people in a narrow body is not ideal
I need to try to get on a 753. As I was talking to the pilot, he said it was his favorite between the 2 variants to fly just because of the sheer power it has.
Delta flight crews have sadly become a hit or miss experience lately. I have noticed some crews have been more like this after they won their JD power award back in 2021. One experience for me that sticks out like a sore thumb was a flight where i was in comfort+ and they were handing out the premium snack basket. I took one snack and then before the FA could move on to the next row, something else caught my eye and i asked if i could grab that second snack and her reply was in a rude tone, "you may only have one snack!" and i knew this was not true because DL doesn't allow their FA's to ration snacks, so the rest of the flight left a bad taste in my mouth. I also had a really good experience in comfort+ too a few days ago where the FA came by with the premium snack basket and when she was finished, she came by a SECOND time to see if anyone wanted anymore premium snacks. So it really does depend on each crew on how your flight will be.
Unfortunately, I’ve had more than one poor experience with Delta recently, you do have to wonder due to so many passenger issues in the last few years if their training has shifted to focus more on that.
That's not true at all. They are kept up just the same, have and are still getting new interior fittings and improvements, and plenty of planes fly for 30 years. It's certainly way closer to the end of their lives (they'll be gone by 2030), but these aren't 40 anyway.
Really, wow you guys sound identical then. Im sorry its just when you said delta is ur favorite I thought it was. You guys sound the same. I apologize.@@TheOnlyNoIan

The first half the vid is some guy in a airport drinking bad coffee. The second half is worth hanging about for.
The 757 is what Boeing should've kept making instead of the 737. Finest transport aircraft ever made IMO.
It’s the best!
Enjoyed watching!!
I love the 757-200.
I wish they would have made a gen 2
Me too!
A 40 year old 757 is built better than a new 737 Max fresh off the line.

Great video!!
Your my teacher
Image not loving the Flying Pencil, couldn't be us.
absolutely could not imagine not loving the flying pencil!
40 years old is nearly the same age as the Orioles World Series drought... 😂
it is lol
wich is the regestratzion of the plane?
N686DA
So it's 40 years old but it's 28 years old? I'm 42. It would be noticeably different to be 28.
to be fair after 25 years the aren’t kept up well. point is, it’s old for a plane!

@@TheOnlyNoIanThis particular aircraft probably hasn't been been retrofitted yet like their other 757s. Delta doesn't want to get rid of them.
why are you using jeb brooks audio is some of the video, atleast give him credit
i am not using jeb’s audio. this is all me.

Haha, no it’s okay. You’re not the first to say that.
You’re supposed to do the bare minimum at work
Too much obsessed with yourself dude. Half of the vid is close-up you!😄
that’s just because of a lack of footage. that’s on me lol. next video will be more about the aircraft.
Too much you, not enough plane
i tend to agree, i just didn’t get as much footage as i wanted to
