A couple of notes if using Silver Slayer in version 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0+: Silver Slayer was designed for use with version .71, but can be applied to newer versions with a few tweaks. In the newer versions, a few things have changed. If you're using version 1.0 or later, you may need to tweak your notch settings depending on which base program you choose. For example, in Deep HC, nickels will read 54-59. In the Fast program, they generally read 59-64. If using Fast as shown here, the notch settings in this video should be very close. I suggest setting the first notch to accept 58-64 and the second notch to accept 86+, as coins tend to read a little lower in the newest versions. Finally, the iron volume setting has been changed. If you like to hear the iron to help give hints about possible falsing or good targets mixed with iron, you'll likely need to bump the volume up to 7 or 8, which will be similar to 5 on version .71. These settings will also work great when using Deep HC as the base program. Just note the notch adjustments mentioned above if using version 1.0 or later.
@@stephenpistoia1227 thanks bud. No, I decided to go back to .71 for now. I’ve only used 1.1 for a very short time, but wasn’t a big fan of how the ID normalization was changed.
Thank you getting back to me and I do run the 2.0 update. I do use fast as my base program so I will make the changes you recommended. Good to hear you’re still around and you got to love the Deus 2. :)
I just recently got into detecting and found your program. I have used this program in 2 or 3 parks over the last week and I have to say it totally works! I found 2 silver rings, 2 silver dimes, and an 1875 Seated quarter dollar! Not all at the same park. What I have learned is, IF you are hunting coins or rings, you just have to trust the program and the tones you get. The only time this program has failed me is the occasional pull tab masquerading as a nickel, dime or quarter. (How many metals do they make those dang pulls out of anyway??) If you get a good repeatable tone with this program it's a good bet it's something worth keeping. And you don't spend your day digging foil and mystery objects. Great stuff!!

Amazing program went out for 1/2 an hour to a small sports field that I have pounded for years with the ATP, Deus 1, CTX3030 and amazingly found a 1950 Rosie and a 1961 Canadian dime (silver ). Keep those programs coming Fantastic 👍👍👍
That’s great to hear! Glad it’s working well for you. I scored another 4 silvers with it today as well. Nothing too old.. just 3 Mercs and a Rosie but silver is silver! Thanks for posting your results!
A few tips for using this program: 1) If you’re hunting cleaner ground and want to get a little more depth, you can lower your reactivity to 1 or even 0.5. Slow your swing speed to match. 2) Listen for those very faint yet repeatable “zip zip” type signals. Those are often really deep coins! 3) If you see a mixture of low 90s with the occasional 88 or 89 on the screen, it’s most likely a copper penny. Dimes will usually stay in the 90s. Sometimes deep copper pennies up-average well into the 90s, so no getting around digging a few of them.
So I just tried your SS program and I have to say that within a 45 minutes period at an old hunted out park I found a 1958 Silver quarter and a 1919 Silver dime!!! Can't thank you enough for sharing this program with us!

Oct 5 2024 . Really enjoy using this program yes I know it not wide open but it nice to go into medium trash site almost dig no trash and find coins when you thought it was hunted out. Today 6 nickles 6 to 8 inches down hunted a😮bout 2 hrs 1 dime 1 penny 2 buttons. 4 eraser head down 4 to 6 inches. Screw with bolt a valve with a nut. Hit a couple foolers big flat washer long copper pipe with cap. Have 9 different detectors probably 2 to 3 coils for each been hunting for about 25 to 30 years. Very enjoyable program.thanks.
@@ohiofredl I’m glad to hear it’s working well for you. I agree, sometimes it’s nice to just go out and cherry pick for a while. Especially at sites that only really have modern silver. Of course, we’ll have to open it up on those older sites. Happy hunting!
Got my Deus II last week Dewayne and I have been using the installed programs to get use to this machine. I did however load this program and can't wait to try it! I will let you know how I like it.
This is a great coin program! This is almost exactly the program I have been using since I got my Deus II in February of this year. I use a program close to this on the Deus 1 as well. It cuts out a lot of trash and does get the coins at a good depth. I have to use a program like this because I am mainly a clad hunter and I hunt extremely trashy parks and the ground is like concrete. I do not advertise these settings because people like to put me down and say that 'you have to dig it all' and that may be true for some people in some situations, but not in mine. I have a video on my channel that shows how trashy my parks are and I dare anyone that hunts where I do to 'dig it all' as that just will not happen. Thanks for this video as I am sure it will help many others to have some fun and successful hunts.
Hey James, I agree 100%! Sometimes (a lot of times) it’s just not possible to “dig it all”. To me, detecting is a game of odds. I want to increase the treasure to trash ratio so that I can spend more time recovering good targets and less time chasing junk. Don’t get me wrong, when I’m hunting older sites for relics I use much less discrimination and dig a lot more targets, but if I tried that at my local trashy parks I’d end up with a pouch full of trash and an aching back. I’m no spring chicken anymore, so I’m just not able to dig it all. Will I miss some good targets? Absolutely. But at the end of the day I’ll get more good targets for the time I spent detecting. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@SuperJupiter33 I do not have that program any more I have updated to v1.10 and I am working the bugs out of a coin program I made. If you want that I will share it. Remember, it needs a little more tweaking and time in the field b4 I consider it a good program but I did just get back in from a hunt and it works pretty good.
Used this program today sept 23 2024 😅unbelievable how great it worked using deus2 ws6master medium trashy sight . Used the ws6master and 9 inch coil and wsa2xl headphones 🎧 thanks.for program.
Dewayne heading out tomorrow to the oldest known park in Boston built in the 1800’s. No doubt its been pounded extra hard. Based on my test garden stock program Deep HC hits my old buried coins the best. I’m simply going to notch out 87 and lower hoping for silver. Based on time restraints I have 3 hours until my flight leaves. Wish me luck and thank’s for all the great vids. Including myself I’m sure many people enjoy the work you’ve put into them!
Sounds like a fun place to hunt Steve. The Deep HC is another one I enjoy using too. I appreciate the kind words & good luck tomorrow! Let me know how it goes!
Well you know my friend we love this hobby because we all have a nerd streak or what ever we want to call it. Of course there’s no exception for Field work. As we know this machine gives us so much room for tweaking . It’s so nice to have a guy like you who can really learn the ins and outs of our hobby ad help us progress in the states. Thinking out loud my first impressions of Deep HC is its like the Nox’s single high frequency conductor program that hits to many type aluminum targets and makes iron sound good. Keep providing feed back so many of us appreciate the time and effort you put into your channel. Anyone who runs a active a thriving channel knows how much work is involved! Good job!
@@Delprete2 thanks man. I really appreciate the kind words. I also tried Deep HC set up like Silver Slayer, but like you, I had the same results with aluminum and iron. I find the Fast based programs just tend to work better for me where there's a lot of modern trash. Deep HC works great out in open fields.
I found several Liberty Nickel with this in older parks. I think because all have been hammering out the silver and no one really is looking for the nickel tones in these pounded parks!
Wish I had a deus 2 , I’m saving up 💰 and maybe soon I will have one 🤞🏼but after hot summer is gone I can’t wait to go hunting and see that program work, nice video Thanks
Hey Mike! I've been wondering where you disappeared to. Hope you've been doing well! With your luck, you'll find enough silver to pay for a Deus 2 in no time. :)
correct me if im wrong but higher weighted frequencies like fast (40khz max) would hit better on low conductors such as gold. for silver youd want lower frequencies
Yes, higher weighted frequencies will hit low conductors deeper and lower weighted frequencies will hit high conductors deeper. There are some other advantages though, that higher weighted frequencies offer. For example, hitting coins on edge and separation. I’ve been finding a lot of coins on edge in heavily hunted parks. The frequency set used by the fast program still hits silver coins very well. It’s pegging those silver coins in parks that others have missed over the years. But if all out depth is your main goal, then yes something like Deep HC would be a better choice.
This program works well. I was just about to go back to the D1 for coinshooting due to the high VDI of trash on the D2, but I went back and tried this with the D2 and killed it over a couple of hours. A couple of unavoidable smashed caps, but a couple dozen coins, even a few pennies. I did block the nickle notch due to beavertails, etc, but when it sings its a 95% coin. Thanks.
That's good to hear man! It sure is nice to skip all of the surface stuff and only dig deeper signals in the silver range. Hope it continues to work well for ya, and thanks for posting your results!
Using a Modified version of your program to find most coins in US. I increased the Notch to include Zinc Pennies and Narrowed the Nickle Notch to cut out more Tabs. I had my Reactivity on 2 but am undecided if I should lower that or not. Finding a bunch of Coins on end but not much Silver so far. I had one place that I have hunted with V3i, VX3, and Etrac. This was a very small yard at an old House. I think I found at least 10 coins, no silver, but several old Wheats, that were missed with the other Detectors. I did find a 42 Mercury yesterday and I tested it using the XY screen and got nothing but a Dot. All I hunt is old houses so I am still undecided about the Reactive speed.
Thanks for the report Danny. Sounds like you're finding plenty of coins. Silver will come as well. Just gotta get your coil over it. Unless I'm on a super contaminated site, I like to run a lower reactivity, usually set at 1, with a slight slower sweep speed. Gets me a little extra depth. Good luck and HH!
I wish people would explain WHY they use a particular discrimination setting. WHY did you bump it from 6.8 to 7? Thanks. This is quite similar to a program that I came up with, only my base was the Relic preset. I used it because I believe that it (and gold) are a bit deeper than the others, and with the severe notching that I applied, the single proximity tone that it uses works fine. I found a lot of silver using that method, but I will be trying yours as well. To write it down for those that don't want to sit through a video: Base Program : Fast Raise discrimination from 6.8 to 7 Raise Bottlecaps to 5 Clear the current notch and add two new ones: (1) 7-59 and (2) 65-87 (leaves a notch for nickels) Iron volume: 4 Reactivity: reduce to 1.5 for added depth Audio response: Raise to 5 Sensitivity, as high as your site allows. Everything else, leave as it was.
Hi trolltaker. I did mention the reason I raised it from 6.8 to 7. It’s just to make it a nice even number, since my first notch starts at 7. Fine tuning a disc setting doesn’t matter too much anyway with all the notch we’re using here. Good luck and HH!
As always a great video. I have lot of time on the Nox and realize you do also. One of the things I ran across is deeper copper pennies could ring up as dimes or even quarters at times. Does the Dues also suffer from this issue, or are VDI”s accurate. I do all I can to avoid pennies and just want dimes and above.
Thanks Steve. The Deus 2 does still up average on some deeper pennies, though not nearly as much as the original Deus. For whatever reason, it seems to up average more on the modern copper memorials than wheat cents. I’ve noticed that a lot of times when it’s a deep penny up averaging, I’ll still see the occasional 89-90 (copper penny range) ID flash on the screen, which is a tell that I most likely have a copper rather than a silver. The ID on a deep copper seems to bounce around a little more than a deep silver too. The D2 ID isn’t perfect, but it’s consistent and still really good IMHO. Its waaaay better than the original Deus. A little better than the Equinox too, in my opinion.
@@MetalDetectingNWGA You will find one. On a Deus product, they are 81 VDI on clean ground, but I dug one this year that was like 60 VDI in light nails. I've found ten in all on old home sites in Western Massachusetts, and a lot of times it's a mid-tone, so cherry picking high tones keeps them from getting found.
Thanks Dewayne, will definitely load this one up. I know you do CW relic hunting. Do you have a good program for that? I hate to see you leave the videos but we do need some programming help and why the setting are used. Not a lot of that info out there but there’s tons of digging. I think this will be great for everyone. Thanks again.
Thanks Tony. I’ve actually been using a modified version of the Fast program for everything. I really like how well it works and how the pitch tones make targets jump out at ya. When I’m hunting relics, I just drop the disc level down much lower and adjust the reactivity to match the site Im hunting. It’s been working great for me. Hope you’ve been doing well!
@@MetalDetectingNWGA Dewayne, been doing good hope you are. I just got my D2 I will definitely try that on relics. I think the deep HC frequency is a bit low for some relics. I have never used pitch on my other Deus but I see that Calabash Digger loves it even at the beach. I gave up on my Deus1 to soon and I won’t be on this one. Do you run all the other settings on fast for relics on default other than reactivity and disc. Thanks again!!! HH.
I actually gave up on my first Deus 1 too. Got frustrated with it and sold it only to buy another one a year later. I learned how to use the 2nd one, learned it’s limitations and really liked it after that. XP seems to have fixed pretty much all of the D1’s weaknesses with the D2. It has an excellent ID, way more stable and doesn’t false on iron nearly as much. You can actually use it to hunt sites with modern trash, unlike the original Deus. I’m really enjoying mine. A lot of the settings on the Fast program and others are just personal preference. I like to hear the iron, so I keep iron volume around 4. I like for the deeper targets to sound a bit more faint, but not too faint so I keep audio response set at 5. I like to keep bottlecap high when hunting parks but I drop it down to 2 or so when hunting older sites. Silencer gets knocked down a notch or two when hunting in thick iron. Other things like reactivity and sensitivity are also adjusted according to the site I’m hunting. But my favorite base program has been Fast with pitch tones.
Used the program today. Got 4 wheats And a silver ring at one of my cleaned out Equiinox spots. If I wanted to skip nickels how exactly would I do that? Being used to the Nox I find the notch setting confusing.
I’ve never tried putting in any custom programs using just the WS6, so I’m not sure what the limitations are, if any. I was under the impression that the puck could do pretty much everything the remote can, but like I said I’ve never tried it. I’d post that question over on one of the forums. I’m sure someone there knows.
@@MauserKar98kthe SS program can be set up in the WS6 but you are limited to one notch. As NWGA says just leave out the nickel notch, works fine for me.

@@lukemiller2895 I had a Nox 800 and currently have a D2 and a Manticore. All great detectors but if I could only keep one, it would be the D2. It’s deep, fast, lightweight, good TID and has the most nuanced audio of them all IMHO.
@@MetalDetectingNWGA the tones are one of the biggest keys for me, I have always said the 800 needed a volume setting for depth. The D2 Has just that in its audio
Hi Jeff, I like to hear when I'm hunting in patches of iron so that I know I'm in an area that was heavily used, or that I may need to adjust my reactivity or swing speed.
Hey Jeff. I believe the only limitation with setting this up on the WS6 would be that you're limited to only one notch. In that case, you could just skip the nickel notch, and notch from 7-87.
Tried your program in a very old park. Wasn’t having much luck. Noticed my brother that was using a equinox with 15 inch coil was pulling old silver out at 10 inches plus. So I switched over to deep HC and notched out everything up to 87. In no time I started hitting deep HC targets. Pulled a merq., standing Liberty, 1865 2 cent and 3 wheats. All targets was 9-12 inches deep. I’m not saying your program isn’t a great silver program. I was just wondering do you have any special settings you would use in a deep HC program where it seems all the targets that others have missed seem to be super deep. Thanks
Hey Kevin, the standard Silver Slayer setting are sort of a compromise between speed and depth. If you’re hunting a spot where coins are running super deep and the ground isn’t extremely contaminated, you can drop the reactivity down to 0 or 0.5 and hit coins down to 10” (check out my video: deep coins with Silver Slayer). If coins are running even deeper than that, I’d definitely use the Deep HC program. For extra depth in Deep HC, the same tricks apply. Lower reactivity and sensitivity as high as conditions allow. Good luck!
@@MetalDetectingNWGA what about any of the other settings in deep HC? Is there anything else you would change. I think the only reason we are hitting these old coins is because they are so deep. There was no modern silver from the 40’s to 60’s. Once deep HC stops producing I’m going to switch to your fast silver slayer program. Just trying to figure out the perfect setting in Deep HC. Got a lot of ground to cover. Thanks
@@kevinmccrory2347 Generally for all out depth you’ll want to minimize the filters you run. A lower bottlecap rejection, lower silencer and as little discrimination as you can stand. Those may let you hear slightly deeper targets, but they effect separation and blended signals more than anything else. If you turn off all of the filters, you’d basically be giving up all of the benefits of a modern detector in exchange for a very slight increase in depth. The settings that will increase depth the most are reactivity and sensitivity. Set up the tones however you like. Run enough discrimination to eliminate only the troublesome targets. Run your reactivity at 0 or 0.5 and swing slow. Run the sensitivity as high as you can while keeping the detector stable. If you have trouble hearing the faint deep targets, bump up the audio response a little. That should get you the max depth out of any of its programs.
@@kevinmccrory2347 Notch isn’t going to have a big impact on depth, but running less notch will allow you to hear those deeper coins that may be blended with iron content or hampered by mineralization. For example, a 7” silver dime may read 92 on the meter. But on deeper targets the ground signal starts to consume the good target, so that same dime may read 87. Same thing if that dime happens to be near a nail. It’ll give you a blended lower ID. If the spot has a lot of trash, you might want to try notching up to 83 or so. You’ll still dig some trash but should get most silver coins too.
Hey Chris! Good to hear that Deus 2 is working well for ya! I’ve been really happy with mine. I like the 9” a lot for most of my locations but I was thinking about picking up the new 13” to get a little more coverage and depth on certain sites where coins run deep. See ya on the forum!
Hello from México i am new with the xp 2 i copy the silver slave to my machine do you think It would help in the plots we have to much colonial fields AND plots here in Querétaro thanks in Advanced
Hey Moises. It was really designed with US silver coins in mind, but you can always lower the notch to accept the type of items you expect to find. If possible, maybe gather a bunch of targets to test, take notes of the ID, then set your notch accordingly. Good luck!
Besides Indian Head Cents be aware you will also miss U.S. silver 3 cent pieces { trimes }. U.S. Silver half dimes , and Spainish half Reales using these settings . I'm not disputing the need for silver cherry picking settings just don't freak out when I come behind you and dig that 1822 Capped Bust Half Dime.
Yes, anytime you use ANY discrimination you risk missing some good targets. However, we all know that sometimes its just not practical to "dig it all" at your local trashy park. It's a trade off: Time spent detecting vs good targets dug. This program is designed to let you quickly snatch up the common silver that reads in the copper penny range and up.
This program is exactly what is needed in places that are full of garbage B caps, chunks of rusty crap, canslaw. Places where your eyes roll back in your head and your ears go numb after an hour or so.
Have I really not commented yet on this?? How is that possible with my mouth being as big as it is??😃 OK…if you have a place that is full full FULL of trash and nails and you’re not getting any more coins….TRY. THIS. SETUP. In my first 3 hunts with this machine using ONLY this setup I have found no less than ELEVEN silver coins and NINETEEN wheat cents, these coming from absolutely HORRIFIC old fairground sites. I have NO money to make, don’t care if you buy a Deus2, don’t care if you don’t. I will tell ANYONE that this WORKS. Now….can you get deeper coins in considerably cleaner ground with Deep HC? I would imagine so, that’s what it’s made for. But that program will NOT find coins on edge like this one will! As long as you know what to use where, the D2 is going to be one HELL of a tool to clean out coins from places you didn’t even think coins existed in anymore. Thanks for posting DeWayne!
Thanks Kevin! Man I’m thrilled to hear how well you’re meshing with the Deus 2, and blown away by how many more old coins you’ve found at those sites in your first couple of weeks! You caught on to the D2 faster than me by a long shot! Took me a few weeks to really start to jive with it, but once the lightbulb went off, I knew it was going to replace my CTX as my go-to machine. Looking forward to seeing how much more silver you can pull outta that spot and others!
Thanks for the kind words Phillip. Glad you like the program and congrats on the CW button! Very cool!
Congrats on the new machine John! Hope ya do well with it!
Hi James ...would you share the coin program you use for the dues 1. thank you !
@@SuperJupiter33 I do not have that program any more
I have updated to v1.10 and I am working the bugs out of a coin program I made. If you want that I will share it. Remember, it needs a little more tweaking and time in the field b4 I consider it a good program but I did just get back in from a hunt and it works pretty good.
Thanks for the SS program, I just installed it and can't wait to get out into my local park to try it out 😁
Good luck JiJoe! Hope ya get some silver!
Used this program today sept 23 2024 😅unbelievable how great it worked using deus2 ws6master medium trashy sight . Grab a 1899 nickle not in great shape but grab about 20 other coins anywhere in depth from under surface to 8 or 9 inches. Used the ws6master and 9 inch coil and wsa2xl headphones 🎧 thanks.for program.
Hey thanks for the feedback Fred! Good to hear that it worked well for you. 😊
Did not work out. Could find partly I guess thats Boston LOL!
Tried your program out today it worked perfectly was very impressed 👏
Good to hear!
Thank You very much for the Deus 2 Tutorials
No problem David. Thanks for watching!
Great program thank you
Thanks Jon.
I found several Liberty Nickel with this in older parks. I think because all have been hammering out the silver and no one really is looking for the nickel tones in these pounded parks!
Yep, and the cool thing is, if you keep digging those nickel signals you’ll eventually be surprised with some gold!
Interesting to meet you today, I too love history.
You too Kimberly! Enjoyed our convo!

@@phillip7506 outstanding! Congrats on the silver!
correct me if im wrong but higher weighted frequencies like fast (40khz max) would hit better on low conductors such as gold. for silver youd want lower frequencies
You need to use the zoom function for the xy screen
I wish people would explain WHY they use a particular discrimination setting. WHY did you bump it from 6.8 to 7? Thanks.
This is quite similar to a program that I came up with, only my base was the Relic preset. I used it because I believe that it (and gold) are a bit deeper than the others, and with the severe notching that I applied, the single proximity tone that it uses works fine. I found a lot of silver using that method, but I will be trying yours as well.
To write it down for those that don't want to sit through a video:
Base Program : Fast
Raise discrimination from 6.8 to 7
Raise Bottlecaps to 5
Clear the current notch and add two new ones: (1) 7-59 and (2) 65-87 (leaves a notch for nickels)
Iron volume: 4
Reactivity: reduce to 1.5 for added depth
Audio response: Raise to 5
Sensitivity, as high as your site allows.
@@MetalDetectingNWGA Oh, OK. Sorry, I guess I missed that. I've always wondered anyway why we have integer TIDs and decimal ground numbers.
I like it, and great finds. I’ll be put a SS program in tonight. Kenny
Thanks Kenny! Hope it works well for ya!
Thanks for the response. Is the depth gauge accurate? Just like I hunted on the Nox I go purely for silver and do what I can to avoid pennies.
@@Delprete2 yes, it’s pretty consistent on coin sized targets. I like the horseshoe meter better than the depth arrows on some detectors.
This is a great silver program, I would open a notch from 80-82 for Trimes. There are way more of them in the ground than people think.
Thanks Jay! Sure wish I could get my coil over a Trime!
I hope so! I usually dig everything from 78 up when I'm coin shooting older sites, so maybe 2023 is the year!
@@MetalDetectingNWGA
Dewayne, been doing good hope you are.
I’m gonna try it out today, thanks!
Good luck!
Great program. Thank you !!
Thanks Liz! Glad ya like it.
Can someone help me with using pinpoint to locate a target. With the deus2.
Thanks
What trouble are you having with it?
@@MetalDetectingNWGA I figured it out yhanks
Used the program today. Got 4 wheats And a silver ring at one of my cleaned out Equiinox spots. If I wanted to skip nickels how exactly would I do that? Being used to the Nox I find the notch setting confusing.
Hey, nice going Steve! To eliminate nickels, just create a single notch from 7 to 87. If a better explanation is needed, just let me know.
What is it about the SS program give the target a more zippy tone when deep. Is it pitch?
It’s mostly the pitch tones, but I feel like the higher weighted frequencies of the Fast program enhances it even more.
Im definitely going to try this. Thanks
Good luck with it Lance!
I like the hunt videos good video
Thanks Mark!
What version of the D II software are you running with this program?
0.71.
Is there a way to use this program with the WS6 Master pack? I can set most of the settings, but I can't seem to access all of them.

Hey Luke. Yes I always ground balance.
@@MetalDetectingNWGA thanks... Im getting ready to order my Deus 2. I have SOOOO many hours on my nox 800 and like it. I went back and forth between D2 and manticore but im going with the deus 2. I just think itll fit me better and im a firm believer "depth is good, but seperation is key"
Since you are looking for silver with this program why did you not set iron volume to zero?
Hi Jeff, I like to hear when I'm hunting in patches of iron so that I know I'm in an area that was heavily used, or that I may need to adjust my reactivity or swing speed.
Thanks buddy I’m like you my videos are far in between it’s more fun just detecting and not working
No doubt man. I’ve really enjoyed getting out without worrying with catching footage. Thanks for stopping by!
can this be set up for the WS6 Master the same ?
Hey Jeff. I believe the only limitation with setting this up on the WS6 would be that you're limited to only one notch. In that case, you could just skip the nickel notch, and notch from 7-87.
So you were/are a Slayer fan?
Yes sir! I'm a Metal fan in general. My forum username (Rattlehead) comes from Megadeth's Vic Rattlehead. They're one of my top favorites.
I thought I was the only one that noticed Paystreak insane swing speed shzzzz
That fella has the fastest swing speed I’ve ever seen! lol! If I swung that fast at my spots, I’d be missing a lot of good targets. To each his own.
Thanks
You're welcome fred.
@@MetalDetectingNWGA what about notch? Would you open the program up or keep using notch to block out most the trash?
@@kevinmccrory2347 Notch isn’t going to have a big impact on depth, but running less notch will allow you to hear those deeper coins that may be blended with iron content or hampered by mineralization. For example, a 7” silver dime may read 92 on the meter. But on deeper targets the ground signal starts to consume the good target, so that same dime may read 87. Same thing if that dime happens to be near a nail. It’ll give you a blended lower ID. If the spot has a lot of trash, you might want to try notching up to 83 or so. You’ll still dig some trash but should get most silver coins too.
Me and a buddy used it today and ended up with 5 silvers in a spot that's been pounded. His 11" coil did better than my 9".

Good luck!
Thank you very much my friend i ll tell you the results of the silver slave God bless you
Besides Indian Head Cents be aware you will also miss U.S. silver 3 cent pieces { trimes }.
Sorry my friend I’m not the most tech savvy i i thought I could post those last finds.
Yeah, UA-cam should allow us to attach images to comments. That would be a useful feature for sure.
This program is exactly what is needed in places that are full of garbage B caps, chunks of rusty crap, canslaw. Places where your eyes roll back in your head and your ears go numb after an hour or so.
Glad it’s working well for you. :)
This program kills it for coins. Great way to cherry pick an area first then go back and mess with trash
Looking forward to seeing how much more silver you can pull outta that spot and others!
