Great video but i want to point out that this is color correction not grading!
That's correct, but once the monitors are calibrated and your footage is corrected/matched, you can start color grading :)
Almost cannot believe this was free to watch. Felt like watching a masterclass on colour correcting from a highly acclaimed professor.
Tutorials like this that show a professionals workflow; and not just a "quick and easy hack" to make your videos look good, are amazing and I'd love to see more of them!

Wow, it sounds and looks very labor-intensive... too much for me. There is a function to align two clips in PR. Do you think it does more or less the same like your highly complex and shurely very professional method? Or is this function just krap?
Do you mean the color match feature? It does work but don't expect any miracles. It basically changes the tint in the whites, mids and shadows

Mental Note - I should use the same camera and same lens.
In a world where all the screens viewing your content are not calibrated - phones, tablets, tvs, other computers..... convince me your edit machine needs to be calibrated?

I've not edited with raw film footage for years but that was still a very interesting colour correct video. I'm sure in the near future we'll only need to speak to Premiere 'match the lighting and skin tones in the 2 clips bitch' and it'll all be done by AI.😊
