if i remember my wookiepedia right, what she means is that baseline humans and near-humans are suprisingly not capable of crossbreed conception. Though i am not sure if this is just a miraluka thing or applies to all near humans so dont quote me as a source or anything.
It's worth playing a female for the difference in Sion's reaction to her, it makes him so much more interesting to kind of have a love/hate thing for the exile

I wish Mira was available as a romance in the game. She's got a lot of personality.
I'm glad she's not. I hate when the entire team is willing to have sex with you after 3 approval dialogues (like in Dragon age origins). It makes me feel i'm in a teenager shit series or something.

@@foxmulder8955 but the thing is, they progress over time, not just instantly lmao. it depends on how you continue the romances and influence, but dragon age inquisition actually takes its time, dragon age ii tries too as well.
Visas' romance scene is so beautiful.

+HEXcellerate revan and bastila's romance was the most beautiful, i only played kotor 2 to have another romance withbastila, it's a shame she isn't actually an avaliable character

It's a shame that KOTOR 2 was so rushed and LucasArts had to be control freaks to Oblivion and force them to release the game too quickly. So much potentially great content was removed from the game that would've made the story and overall experience richer and more complete. Case in point, the romance options.
Whilst the romantic tension is still there in the game, it never properly progressed and it felt hollow. The scene with Visas is a beautifully delivered cutscene and showed how much the Exile meant to her, but it would've been nice to have seen more of that connection between the two as well as with the Handmaiden. Same with fem Exile. It would've been great to see the option to develop a romance between either Atton or Mical or even Bao-Dur for that matter and see how it affects the overall story and the central character. If KOTOR 1 and 2 had been made around the same time as the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games, I imagine there would've been more romance options with your team members considering how ME2 was chock full of them. Male Exile could have the option to romance either Visas, Brianna or Mira. Fem Exile could romance either Atton, Bao-Dur or Mical.
I also wanted some fucking mira action god dammit xD! She was my type fck
Or at least an older Mission Vao (spelling?) to replace Mira? Haven't played in a while, so I don't know if that would work...

When Visas told the exile of her love for him at 8:58 the tenderness and vulnerbiliy in her voice made my breath stop... great voice acting...incredible.
Lol...was not expecting to see Carth at that moment...it threw me for a second.
What Visas says when she asks the Exile to stay is...touching, eloquent and beautiful.
I began playing the game as male exile and instantly shiped him with Atton. It quickly became my OTP, but when I saw the interactions the male exile had with Visas, somehow I got two OTP.
She's so sweet in her own manner and the way she shows affection feels so genuine and deep. Also, the fact that she can't see your body and still is attracted towards him is beautiful. Obviously there are somethings a little creepy like the way she keeps saying "my life for yours", but at the same time it left me imagining how the relationship would have evolved should the events have happened in a different way.
Backstory aside, I headcanon'd that they previously knew each other and she was simply returning to someone who gave her a reason to go on after everything she went through. Made the in-game interactions less creepy.

I loved playing this game. I remember it well. First time I played I was going for Brianna but ended up being with Visas. That was long ago, but now, I think Visas just made my top list again. I now want to play again and see her story fully.
It is shame you do not upload anymore... :'(

For me, I would romance with Brianna. *NOTHING* against Visas!! I adored Visas because after she left Darth Nihilus, she is restoring to who she used to be prior to being his slave. Plus she is more personal Force wise.
Brianna, on the other hand, would be the one that would be the hardest to turn away from if I had to go and follow Revan to the Unknown Regions. She’s soft spoken, but badass in her own Echani way. You can practically *FEEL* her emotions as she talks.
It's sort of funny. I found it more enjoyable to play KOTOR I as a female and KOTOR II as a male, yet cannon dictates that its flip-flopped. This makes me sad....
Especially considering while he's adorable if you're female, Carth can be annoying as heck in the male game.
Yep I completely agree. Female Revan and Male Exile are very cool playthroughs on KOTOR I and 2. Although they are not cannon I find them far more interesting.

Dude this game is amazing even after being released after so long, like the conversation of kreia with the exile to me had so much power and reason wow powerful game. Like what she said indeed sounded wise

Mira and Visas had amazing voice actors :3 their delivery on every line is perfect, full of emotion, right what it needs to be, handmaiden, while an interesting character, did not always manage to convey the feelings she was supposedly admitting to :S what makes this game tough for me, is trying to choose between superior male romances and characters, and that amazing fem exile story with Atton :3

Honestly did not expect Carths face... his expression was lolworthy. :P
I watched a full walkthrough of the canon lightside female walkthrough after playing through a grey male character twice (First Jedi Guardian/Jedi Weaponmaster then Jedi Guardian/Sith Lord). I have to say, and I'll probably get hate for this, but the male exile story just fits the narrative so much better. Male exile gets Briana, which makes Atris turning to the darkside more believable since she once loved the male exile and became jealous of Briana and angry that the man she used to love and now hated caused her only Force sensitive handmaiden to break her oath. Plus it also makes more sense with Kreia being Arren Kae.... Female exile gets Mical, who is relatively unimportant to the story. And Darth Sion? He loves a female exile and lets himself die out of that love. However, he DESPISES a male exile, and lets himself die generally because he knows he can never defeat you, and dies in loathing. The female exile story was good, I just feel like male exile is darker and just better....
Or the Exile could be a lesbian, so she can still get Briana, and that can all still happen.
Briana doesn't join the female exile though.

A long time ago when I owned and Xbox and owned a copy of those game in this format I found that there was more romance dialogue with hand maiden after you make her Jedi guardian and and she’s whereing her mother robes you can get her to take them off at that point the seen cuts off and you talk about the hanky panky you did and how she regrets iv tried to replicate this in the moded pc version with the full restore with no availbe but I will never give up the secret is all in who you have influence and who you don’t have it’s like a 8 person combination lock that drives me to play this game over and over again to see all the different outcomes has anyone else seen this hidden dialogue so people don’t think I’m nuts lol
Mical, he is the disciple you find in the dantooine ruins. He replaces Handmaiden if you are playing as a female exile
This is Carth Onasi, and you are my favourite last surviving crew member on the endar spire.
Even the best actors and actresses come across roles they're not as spectacular at, I just feel that Grey had a hard time trying to convey the very specific emotion that Brianna's character portrays, hers was the hardest role of the women I feel, the handmaiden's character was an odd one, her lines stranger still, while it doesn't hit the notes I feel it should have, it was definitely a commendable effort, and handmaiden remains one of my face characters to date :3
Being socially awkward myself, I can believe that she'd have a hard time properly conveying how she feels since she's very out of her element when she follows the Exile. The fact that she willingly steps out of her comfort zone to follow me earns her my respect.
Alternate with male exile is really interesting. Who knows how could be change the star wars universe?

I always loved all the crap that happens when you go male. Like... at least 3 women fall for you and it also helps to make Atris more interesting. According to wookieepedia the "jedi exile" is actually suppose to be a woman. I've beaten it as both and I just prefer male because of this...and maybe because I'm a guy. lol, still just funny. One thing that does suck that Visas is like, the last one I'd choose to go with and she's the only choice. Damn game, still love it though.
when you play a Female Exile, you get Mical from Dantooine and when you play a Male Exile, you get the Handmaiden from Telos. that's what happens if i understood you right.
Visas' romance was so great.
I think they should have added this line for Mira, directed at Atton and Mical. "I don't know what the two of you are arguing about. I caught her, she's mine. :3"

lol ive always had a lust for more with this game, but couldnt play it long enough to find out due to more important priorities like study etc, but man ive always wanted to know what happens fully in this game , there is so much depth to it and not enough time for me to explore it all thanks for posting this up and ur other videos :) subscription + 5/5 favourited =D

My fav K2 romance is the male exile and the Handmaiden.
At some point i'll have to play the restored version of kotor 2. I feel it will be more fun than an unmodded version since when i originally played it on xbox it tended to be buggy at times
I find it hard to believe that anyone would go to war for Kreia, especially someone with a beautiful echani wife already waiting at home. Kreia doesn't strike me as relationship material, and I get the feeling she hasn't changed much over the years even when she became a Sith.
mass effect is a lot like this, but the conversations are much simpler.
Or more accurately, story wise in my opinion, female exile is better for a lightside playthrough. Male exile is better for a grey/darkside playthrough.

yea, the male does get more stuff, (which is awesome, cuz i'm a guy! woot!), and then there's this mod you can get for "enhanced romancement with visas" which is even cooler. And I do agree, it would be cool to have mira as a love interest.

I'm pretty sure it's expressly stated that her mom is Aeren Kae, and Kae isn't Kreia. She was supposed to have died at Malachor V in the mass shadow generator. That and Brianna is gorgeous and Kreia isn't, and probably never was.

At first, I couldn't tell who voiced Brianna. I knew that I knew her voice, but it just wouldn't click. But when she said "father did" it all came to me. Like Azula would speak of Ozai. Like Natla would speak of Richard. Grey Delisle! :O
I'm pretty sure Chris Avellone (the lead designer/writer) has been on record saying that he prefers romances to be unrequited. I think he's one of those folks who likes making characters suffer (y'know, like Joss Whedon).
The part where Mira and the Handmaiden talk, when does it appear? I have played the game about three times already and it still doesn't appear.
how do you get that suit thats white and covers part of your face? and the one the exile wears....
Of course the Handmaiden &Visa romance enhancement mods make these scenes even cooler.

Far better dialogue in this game than any of the movies. This romantic dialogue is far superior to "You are softer than sand".

Oh - and the writers who work with him tend to agree with him and reflect that philosophy. I have nothing but respect for the guys at Obsidian - especially the Planescape Torment vets.

this is about the extend of the romance in this game. But Visas and Brianna BOTH tell you they love you. That's more than us female Exiles get.

One of the biggest problems with this game for me is that the romance is so weak. Even as a male exile you can get all these females to be all over you but you can't really be more than friends with them. The game doesn't let you delve deeper into the relationships which is utterly disappointing. It's annoying how Visas completely opens herself to me with her feelings and I get this warm fuzzy feeling inside during her dialogue but then when they show my options, I CAN'T CONFESS BACK!!!
The reason why the female exiles do not get as much love is because none of your companions are ATM cards ;)
