I know this is a bit beside the point of your list, but The #1 tool I’ve used in every job, every discipline that is probably so obvious that it went without saying is Excel and Excel VBA. I’ve used this literally from 1992 when I got my first PC as a sophomore or junior in college to date. It’s both a destination and middleware tool for so incredibly many purposes. Spotfire (and R) is also an amazingly powerful visualization and drill-down tool.
