Thank you for your awesome content. As a Snr. Petroleum engineer I can tell you this if you a get a degree in PE try to be specialized in completion engineering it’s the future job and all of the major and minor firms will hire you immediately with a great compensation,,, all the best 🌹
Thanks so much. I graduated 3 years ago and never got the opportunity of an engineering position in the oil and gas industry. However I got really quick a job in the workover rigs and became a roughneck. My bosses are kids that went into the field right out of highschool. I can’t complain I make a lot of money, but the impotence of having the knowledge and not put it to use hunt me. Anyways. I appreciate it the video. Blessings.
Thanks Yoshi for your guidance! I am a Senior Production Engineer with 10 years experience in oil and gas industry and keen to do reservoir engineering next. Your videos are really helpful. 🤝🙏.
I got my first degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Engineering. I got an MBA, and currently pursuing a Natural Gas Engineering master's at OU. I would recommend people to look at obtaining certifications. such as the PMP, CSM, or a Data analytics certification. I'm currently a fire protection engineering project manager, but definitely looking into the financial and banking industry next with Commodities training. This video is very helpful. take care.
Thank you, what of some graduate in Business computing degree ,if he wants to go for masters what options one can he take ? With interest in oil and Gas industry.
I'm currently doing chemistry but want to do PE, but my country doesnt offer it, i want to do chemical engineering beng and masters in PE. Or is geology a better alternative to PE
Loved all your videos Mam. I wanted to do masters in petroleum engineering. Which country is better for jobs on PE with masters in PE. I am thinking about doing masters in UK or Norway or is it better to do masters in US. Plz help me with your view on it ,Thank You.
Can i get into mechanical / chemical engineering after completing my bachelors degree in PE ... ?? What should be the path to it? i am a bit confused 😅
As a BSc graduate in petroleum engineering i am having difficulty in finding job. I have made a high entrance score when i entered to the university. What should i do ? Having depression as all my studies seems to be not worth ;(
Hello I graduated as a Reservoir and Production Engineer last year but can’t find a Job . Because these last months I have grown interest and I do well at my web development practice. I would love to continue my studies into the tech industry. Web development to be precise. What advice would you give me.
What about studying heat exchangers , mass transfer , gas processing. I mean taking courses from mechanical engineering, chemical and civil engineering will they be an add on for a petroleum engineer ? Because there are petroleum engineers who do not like programming or data analysis or python .
Hello yoshi.. 👋🏼☺️This is the first ever video of your channel that I am watching. Thank you so much for the all the valuable information you shared BUT I was Actually looking for the answer of a completely differnet question. You see I have done Telecommunication engineering and then I did my Masters in Electrical engineering (Communication).. Now coz of the extremely limited opportunities and choices and also coz of the very low pays that are being offered in telecom industry I want to change my career.. May I mention that I graduated from engineering university in 2012 and completed my Masters in 2019. Now I want to to shift my career path to petrolium industry coz of obvious reasons.. Good pay.. More opportunities etc.. So can you PLEASEEEE PLEASEEEE make a video about this subject as well..? So People like me who are looking for a career change INTO the petrolium industry can get some guidance..? If you could take out some of your valuable time for this task I shall be very grateful to you for that. Thanks a lot.

Investment Banks hire Reservoir Engineers for transactions for technical analysis and cash flow models. Basically, type curves.
Do you think it’s possible to get a minor in PE and major in business and still be able to break into the petroleum businesses.

Hi am a petroleum engineer fresher
Can I get a job in canada?
None of these jobs have anything to really do with Petroleum Engineering other than IB for Upstream. They just pivoted careers...
Thank you, great information. What do you think about pursuing a master in project management if I have just graduated and I have no experience?
I think that will give you some diverse experience!
