I'll come back to this later. But first view moments were enough and I subscribed. I use SE all the time, every day. Maybe you can find away around this little SE problem. I love the Visual Sync mode to rapidly synchronize the beginning and end points of a video. BUT.... the Visual Sync mode lacks the controls to change the playback speed. Moreover, after I've made an adjustment of the playback speed in the main SE window so that I can hear some almost inaudible dialog, when I enter Visual Sync mode, the speed has been reset to normal. There are no controls to make the same speed adjustment. I feel like Visual Sync mode is an external tool tacked onto SE but not sharing the playback settings. If Visual Sync had those controls, I would even prefer running Visual Sync outside of SE in order to nail down the criticall end points.

Nice videos. Thank you for your explanation.
A question: how do I put two different languages of the same subtitle into the same video? I mean, put English and French subtitle into the same video.

Hi! Would you like to have the final videos with subtitles in 2 languages? If so, I'd recommend exporting the video with the burned-in subtitles in one language, then opening this video on the software again and generating subtitles in the second language: here, I'd recommend changing the color and the positioning so it won't overlap with the pre-existing ones

@@subtitlingwithclaudia thank you very much, Claudia. I already figured it out. Went round the app, surfed the net, etc. Thank you for your response. I appreciate.

Claudia, I managed to get Subtitle Edit on Linux. I am not able to read a Hindi language subtitle file properly. The file was generated using audio to text feature of Subtitle Edit, using the Vosk model. I can read the file properly when I open it in my Text Editor. But not when I import to subtitle edit. All I see are boxes instead of words. What am I doing wrong?

Hi! Are you sure you did all the steps correctly? What version of the software do you have? This might also be the problem

@@subtitlingwithclaudia I think my comment keeps getting deleted. I use 407 portable, that works with Linux.
