Since watching your videos and how to set up, my catch rate has rocketed up from 1 to 2 all day, up to 6/7 in a couple of hours, thanks for your videos
@@RhysFishes brilliant thanks for the reply ... been away from fishing for a while but slowly getting back into it...used to have some great days at Rutland its an awesome place... I've always been 444 peach floater old school but lines are more advanced now ..it would see..the rio floater is the top choice. Great videos thanks for the reply 👍👌
Lovely fishing pal , have u tried eyebrook fishing it's rocks off at the minute ifor put some nice fish in , had a 4 hour session last Sunday 15 on dries hawthorn fly on bank brill.
That would be perfect Rhys I know you use the 7atmf but I'm looking at the 6 weight for my local water, taking your advice and investing in another rod lol thankyou for your reply tight lines sir
nice vid. Interesting to see the line changes. You mentioned yours but not Jerry's? I see he switched from what looked like a floating line to a slow sink intermediate, then back again?
@@RhysFishes Thanks for that. Was really amazed at how quickly you were moving the buzzers. I'm pretty new to stillwater trout fishing and always thought they had to be kept fairly static, but that's clearly not the case?
“For when the One Great Scorer comes to mark against your name, He writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the game!” - Grantland Rice. An old quote from my rygyby coach. I am long retired but it will forever stay with me. Loved the quote at the start of the video.
Not been to Rutland for years, my dad and i are pretty much the same when fishing together. Taking my son for his first trip tomorrow. Ever fished Brenig?

I really wouldn't know where to start on such a huge reservoir. Well done, it looks beautiful mate. Your videos are a highlight in life.
Ask a Ranger or at the lodge.
Think of it as a series of small bays and approach it in that vein
Top stuff fellas 👍

@@robertlithgow8916 I still use the 444 peach and Mint Green SL as my preferred options so worth not neglecting them
Hi Rhys what knot do you use for droppers, im sick of droppers wrapping round the main line cheers.
That's a standard when it comes to fishing droppers and the fish really don't mind it so I wouldn't over think it.👍
Have stillmaniac fly rod #7 10ft what weight rio gold floating line do you use #7 or #8 thankyou keep up with the videos thankyou
#7 👍
Any chance you could give us a description of the lines you used cheers
Jer used a floater, cortland blue, di3
I used a di5, di3 and midge tip

I was there 2 weeks ago with lindsay. Watch out for videos on it in the next few weeks 👍
Out of interest, what Di3 line are you using Rhys? It's a line I want to add to my arsenal.
Sweep
Excellent video boys as usual, do you both rate the vision stillmaniac rod ?
Great rods. I'll be filming a review of it shortly

@@RhysFishes i thought it was some kind of Welsh wizard trick😜

Brilliant exactly what I asked for!!
I take it you were drifting all day not anchored??
Drifting all day. Can't stand anchoring!
When’s the next episode out mate I’ll be patiently waiting 😂

Ever fished Brenig?
For many years. Great lake!
Just wondering why you put red tape on your cork?
Just to protect the cork which has worn
Where is part 2? Want to see Jeremy get some own back !!!!
Monday 👍
Is it true that he replies and likes every comment? Also my dad won’t stop saying happy days and copying jeremy’s melt down 🤣
Nice one buddy.
