Yes! It is unique while playing homage to music from some really great period action shows. (Personally, I hear a lot of Xena in the fight music, and just a smidge of BBC's Robin Hood in the theme song)

I binged watched the whole season last weekend. I really enjoyed it. There are some story arcs they left unfinished, suggesting possible 2nd season.
