Avatar is the only cartoon series i have seen in its entirety multiple times (voluntarily). I was in my 30s with two children when I saw it for the first time. It is a family favourite. Kora is great as well.
Since nobody seems to know about it, I want to give a shout-out to Martin Mystery, one of the best cartoons of its time. It was created by Marathon, same animation team as Totally Spies and Galaxy Quest and even had a crossover with the former. Such a shame it doesn't have as big of a following. Also a nod to X-Men: Evolution, top tier show of the 00s. ALSO props to the React team for including Jackie Chan Adventures! The edgier cartoons don't seem to have as much popularity as the goofier ones. Not that there's anything wrong with them, I watched both types. But the "edgy" ones left a much bigger impact for me.
Even though I enjoy Teen Titans Go!, I loved the original Teen Titans animated series SO MUCH MORE. It was just like watching Batman: The Animated Series, The Batman or Static Shock, all of which had a dark, serious theme, as in mood, throughout the entire series & I loved it ALL! My childhood going into my teen years & early adulthood at its peak nostalgia & reminiscence in the 2000s decade!
Jaxon, you’re my boy for life! It’s like we lived similar childhoods a couple decades apart! 🤣 I really enjoyed this one all! Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
Fun fact: The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was highly inspired by Scream & The Cat in the Hat! The producer saw Scream and read his daughter the Dr. SUESS book and was like "Death and kids. What an interesting concept!"
