No time for explain, but you can avoid slippage if you will be using limit orders instead stop-orders. Other wise you not beat this market.
From all the sketchy prop firm stuff i've been seeing lately, im having doubts it's "slippage"....
CFD prop firms < Futures prop firms
when I backtest minor pairs like EURAUD. the tester start to download tick data of EURUSD and AUDUSD from the broker and not the custom symbol which leads to inaccuracy, and tick missing. How should I deal with this problem. Thanks

Hi! Did you try to have another filter? For example if the range too small, don’t trade that day … only accept a certain level of ranges … same goes for very big ranges , if the price traveled lets say 85% of the daily range by the time that your stop orders will be placed , there is a higher chance that the price will return

place trades in memory instead of limit and stop orders that way can control slippage
There is no winning with these bot firms with algo trading.
Hi bro. one of prop firms rul is not to use trades based on Arbitrage! so it could be profitable strategy. did you ever think about an Arbitrage robot that use the latency between brokers to get order in slower broker?
Do not really think this can work. Trading costs are too high. Also forex/cfd is not regulated. Different prices... etc etc
Hi Rene, to deal with stop outs caused by very small ranges, you might consider the SL being the wider of other side of range (as you have now) and nxATR, e.g. n=3
Can you make video on how to calculated stops loss in pips and take profit or risk to reward ratio and after one profits lots increase aur loss decrease so compounding capital easily you can find video on moving average youtube channels how to grow smalll account but they use 15 pips sl we use 10 pips aur according to script volatility 1:3 aur 1:2 rr which becktest results batter
So long storey short u should make your dynamic lotsize not based off your sl and tp
I can give u an example with my range breakout ea
What would be the net result if you close all trades 5 minutes before high impact news release? You could miss huge breakouts of course but also avoid big slippage and hitting both stoporders when prices spike up and down in a short time
