"Water stains on glass = Bar maids keeper" that one tip will save you days over the course of your lifetime. a couple bucks....get the dry stuff, easier and more effective in my opinion. I have seen it used with fish in the tank....but I prefer to do it during a major water change. Apply to the rag then to the glass....and MORE IS NOT BETTER...a dab will do ya...and work your way around the tank.
I tip that helps me acclimate the fish without the hassle is after 15 minutes of having the fish in the bag, use a knife and gently poke small holes in the bottom of the bag
That can help but you want to make sure the water from the tank they where in doesn’t go into your fish tank some of the fish store water isn’t super clean and sometimes can come with bacteria you don’t want!
Can't believe I stumbled onto your vid, man. I have a 40 gallon cube that was a reef, but crashed. So decided to make Tiger barb tank also, using a huge piece of Malaysian driftwood I kept from an old planted tank, stood up on end and poking out the top. Will probably go Java fern in mine. Tank looks great, and ignore the over stock comments, if you can keep up on maintenance and fish are healthy, all that matters. Oh, and have every intention to put 30 in my tank. And loaches or another Asian bottom dwelling fish. Anyways, good luck with it and be safe!! 👊🍻👍 Btw, little jealous of that price!! They go for $3 ea for small guys around here!
Sorry just saw your comment! And yeah I got luck with the price! i do have a baby knife fish living with them atm who will be moving to a pond and a clown loach!
@@jackross3632 Awesome man!! Got mine going like I said. Need to get 15 or so more TBs, but did add a Rainbow Shark in with them and lots of Java fern.
Safewaters I’m planning on doing something along the same lines like your setup. I have a 55g and have about 30 tiger barbs in quarantine getting ready to go. But I need that deal you got on the tiger barbs 😆
CheapeOne hey well thank you! Please make sure to check out the Nuvo 10 gallon tank I’m working on as that tank is having constant updates! Have a good day!
All Tanked Up (aka Da Broken Compass) i personally think they are beautiful but I’ve never had fish that just kill each other constantly. It’s a bit much
Planted Tank Stories thank you very much! I’m working on a update for this tank in the future. Make sure to check on my newest video on the planted tank!!
Centura Design Consultants okay so for a tank that doesn’t have constant water changes like I’ve had to do or just in general constant attention it’s five per 20 gallons and then after that it’s 1 per three gallons. I would advise sticking close to that rule than over doing it. Also, welcome to the hobby! Get ready to spend some money hahah.
Lobest Aquatic dude thank you! I’m wanting so badly to make as many of these types of videos as i can. I’ll be making an updated video on this tank soon!
@@Tommy.TheCat My barbs only consume blood worms so tank doesn't get too dirty. 25% water change every week and 50% every month. Filter is for 30-60 gallons to have proper water flow.
Great idea, I appreciate the fact that you didn't speak throughout the video lol. Makes the content more relaxing to watch. Tiger barbs are awesome!
The best schooling fish 🐠 ❤
Just got a 29 gallon with 12 tiger barbs! I wasnt sure about the size but it seems perfect. Love your setup , super minimal and clean.
You can always be proud of the building the tank with a heartbeat it did have throughout the whole video , ☯️
Can't believe how few subscribers you have - the craftmanship on your videos and tanks is superb. Keep making - people will find you!
Thank you so much just saw this!
The way you showed humanity by not even killing those bugs in the log wood is very nice... congo you earned a subscriber :)
90% tree trunk 10% fish
Haha your not wrong
So glad your video popped up on my recommendations. Love the cinematography and how simplistic this video is. Great job. New subscriber 👍🏻
Glad you liked it! Hope you like the new videos!
Very nice! Love a good log build.

What's ur tank size ?
I believe this is a 35 -40
I've got 20 tiger barbs in a 30 gallon
Do yours end up mating ever?
@@Safewaters Mine are all males
Leaf ohhhh
thats way overstocked, do you do big water changes all the time? and what filter do you have?

Use harpic trust me it works
Super
30 gallon, and 10 to 15 gallon left with that trunk, that is not good for 16 tiger barbs and they sure look juvenile still.
u got a new sub from me too😊
Well thank you!
J
Bit over stocked
Gopal Karmakar I actually disagree. The fish are doing well and haven’t had any issues.
What's the dimension of your tank?
