Can YOU Define "POWER VIOLENCE"? | Infest, No Comment, Crossed Out...

- I look at some vinyl records I have from a unique era in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There was a Power Violence scene which was a sub-genre of Hardcore Punk. I go over some records from that era like Infest, No Comment, M.I.T.B., Drop Dead, Neantherdal, etc. Power Violence seems to be getting more popular on the internet and I thought I would look through my records and check out the inserts, covers and lyric sheets.

@@AllofJudea Trump is not in the band. These are 90's DIY PUnk bands.
Awesome stuff. So happy to hear a proper take on PV. Also worth mentioning - Yacopsae (Germany) Slight Slappers (Japan) ... Forged (newer PV band from CA, brutal af!) Nice collection bro
Oh man, I have a Yacopsae record and didn’t show it. 😡
@RockPaperXcissors You have brought shame to the powerviolence gods! Haha just kiddin yeah man that band melts my face off. Happy you gave Hellnation a shout out they dont get enough love! I can tell you are a true pv fanatic like myself haha
@@vincentrose9114 I'll do a 12" one in the future, I have Infest and Hellnation albums.
Sorry but back in the 70s.was into revamp of rock and roll. There was a place in East Media had a sound proof place that cut these records of two groups. And the artwork in one of these covers cool. Keep it up as usual.
I thought vinyl would be another interesting collectible. But I only have indie stuff.
