Theresa, I’m so sorry for your friend. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (blood & bone cancer) last September. Psychology is very important. They told me I had a couple of weeks to live. I was told I was cancer free in early December. Don’t let him give up. Sending love ❤

My fiancé is a cancer survivor. He had a very aggressive form of leukemia. Hes 12 years in remission. He still struggles with being immunocompromised, but that feels like small potatoes. Thinking of Michael, and cheering him on. Its an ugly disease but there are some positive stories. Love you so much my garbage queen. ❤

I'm so sorry to hear about Michael Theresa and if I wasn't so broke at the moment I would definitely donate. As a European I still cannot get over the fact that you Americans in the richest country on earth need to set up Gofund mes because you don't have universal healthcare system that takes care of its citizens without them having to worry about fuckin money when they have fuckin cancer!!! It drives me insane. Thinking of you and Michael
Amen sister. I’m an American, and I say the same thing all the time. The even more shocking thing is the number of other Americans that argue against universal healthcare. It’s completely insane. God forbid having to pay 1% more in taxes so everyone can afford healthcare. I guarantee you the amount of money we currently spend on healthcare is exponentially more than we’d pay in taxes for universal healthcare, but it’s the point that it would also help other people that upsets them so much.
Theresa, I am a breast cancer survivor. I wish your friend all the very best, and they are lucky to have someone as cool and hilarious as you as part of their support system, as humor is invaluable in healing.
My husband has been battling multiple myeloma for the last two years. We are in central Florida too. If you or your friend need anything or just someone to vent to please feel free to reach out. There is an amazing cancer center in Tampa too that has been a huge help to us. Sending love ❤

I’m so very sorry about your lovely friend, Theresa. As a nurse, I can assure you that getting it lucky is bloody wonderful and most blood cancers are treatable. It’s a big shock, but you live nearby to be on hand and soon it will be in everyone’s rear-view mirror. He’s so lucky to have friends like you.

Fyi earlier I watched this with my mom in the room, and she said how much she appreciated seeing a woman who looks normal reviewing makeup online. She's not a makeup person, every single thing she's bought at Sephora has been picked out with my help. But it was so nice to see her realize that about the online community. 🖤❤️

If you, or your BFF, is interested, I have an AMAZING hematologist/oncologist in Winter Park. Dr Suleiman at Florida Cancer Center. I know it's a bit far for you, but he's right off I-4. His staff and the nurses are incredible too and the new infusion center there is top notch. I have been his patient for years and I am so grateful to them.

As a survivor, I’ll tell you that the time between diagnosis and and finding out how bad it is is the worst part. Your mind will play out and make you face the worst case scenario. Even if the worst case happens, once you find out, you have something to fight and/or accept. We love you Theresa. Take care of you and Michael. We’re going to be here for you. We’ll support you and wait for you no matter how long you need! 💕 Also, thank you for the review on the cookies n cream palette! I had major FOMO from that color story but now I feel better! 😂

L O S T is my favorite of all time but if you’re looking for an incredible sci-if/mystery show may I recommend the tv show Fringe. It has a slow first season but once you get past the slow part it’s absolutely incredible. I’ve not had a show hit me in the feels as hard as Fringe since. I highly HIGHLY recommend it to any sci-fi/thriller/mystery fan and I recommend it to people who are new to sci-fi too because it really eases you into the genre. I’m so sorry to hear about your BFF Michael Theresa. It’s horrible how helpless we are when those we care about go through sickness and I think you’re incredible to be there for him the way that you can. It’s nice that you guys have a show you’re watching together and I do really like From. Wishing you all of the very best in this alien crazy time we live in. Hell, my hematology team here in suburban Atlanta has kept me alive despite some very low odds for over a decade now, and my wife and I have a spare bedroom and frequent flyer points. You’ve got this, and I think it’s safe to say, you’ve got us. ❤️

My incredibly challenging time doesn't come close to Michael's and gives a big dose of perspective. Sending him all the healing energies I can. Yup, the chocolate highlighter is for bronze chicas. I look insanely great with it on. The first time I ran the highlighter across my high cheekbones I was impressed. I never seen my high cheekbones this great looking. And I'm not even a vain person.

I’m so sorry to hear about Michael. A friend of mine of 30+ years has also recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, so I can definitely empathize with what emotions you are going through when a friend you cherish so much is facing something so scary. I didn’t realize how much my friend also needed to lean on me for strength and encouragement during her journey, which I wouldn’t trade for the world and feel so honored to be a part of that support system. Michael is lucky to have so many people surrounding him to keep him strong and encouraged
Sorry to hear about your friend, I watched my mom to go through ovarian cancer last year. My top tips are to know that there's no wrong way to grieve, and if he decides it's time, you need to listen to him.

I have no horror show recommendations, but I wanted to mention a podcast I discovered recently that's really been helping me with anxiety. It's called Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet, and I've been listening to it at night before bed. They do dramatic readings of crazy internet reviews of various places/products/services and it's hilarious. There's swearing (no fake curse words unless they're making fun of them), occasional stories from the hosts' childhood that remind me a bit of some of your stories, and it's just really entertaining. Anyway, it's really been helping take my mind off negative things, so I thought I'd throw it out there!

My bestest friend of 40 years, who was my first love and we are connected. I found out he has Lymph nodes that are cancerous and in his lung is a huge mass.. I learnt to sit and reflect and it dawned on me. As we get older, so do people we know and that bond never goes away. Painful and am very distraught. I am sorry you have to go through this. Just happy you have a great man Alex. I have my Cliffy! ❤❤❤❤❤😊 .

Between my ex father in law and myself, my family have had a shitty few years with cancer rearing it's ugly head. Thankfully we are now on the otherside. My heart goes out to your friend Michael, yourself and his loved ones. Let's hope he will kick big Cs ass and will be stronger than ever.
I absolutely adore this collection. It has meeeeee written all over it, even the body bronzer ....but I'm very tanned.
I hope we can get this collection delivered to the UK , im 49 and still love my shimmers.
Apocalyptic game night:
My friends an I play this game (came up during a pre covid study session, the irony), it gies like this:
1. One person brings up an Apocalypse type event/situation.
2. All rank who will survive but hide it from the one who brought up the scenario.
3. All argue for their survival in that scenario according to the ranking that they think they deserve.
4. The scenario presentor gives their ranking.
5. Points are gained according to matches between the group and the DM's rankings.
P.s.- It does get old if you do it with the same people all the time because all events can be narrowed down to about 5-8 basic skill set needs. But that depends on the groups pattern recognition. (Most of my friends are Engineers/scientists so it's down to a system)
When you started talking about the survival thing, I am mediately thought about the TV show from. A few minutes later, you actually mention the TV show! I almost screamed! My husband and I were talking about this the other day while watching it, and we both know that we would definitely survive, but there’s a few people that we both immediately thought that we were going to put outside in the box. Both of us agreed. I’m glad we’re on the same page on who goes in the box 1st. 😂🤣 No regrets.

I just picked up Glamlite's Hershey Kiss Special Dark palette at Marshall's this week, couldn't believe they had it! I love purple, and the packaging was killer. I can't wait to see what they do with the Ghostface collection. I'm so sorry to hear about Michael, I hope things improve. This year has been really bad for illness & loss, it seems like. I enjoyed Cabinet of Curiosities on Netflix, & The Great on HULU.

i lost one of my dogs to congestive heart failure 9 days ago; not even two months after he was diagnosed with it. losing a family member/loved one and/or knowing they’re greatly sick hurts so bad and i’m sorry you are having to deal with this; i wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone

So sorry to hear that. Michael is young and that means a lot in recovery! This year has been horrible for my family too. My stepsister (really a sister) passed away in June from complications of pulmonary fibrosis and my stepmother has a new husband who now also has cancer. My dad has early dementia too. I get what you are going through and he is lucky to have you and Alex so close.
