Tip for you drae, you keep applying the brakes in a backwards order. You want to use the small handle to engage them. 0-100% from the small then AFTER you wanna switch the larger brake handle to whatever setting of service 1-3, or emergency 1-3. The order you’re applying just wastes all your pressure without the brakes applying
Also, doctor sausage isn’t the only way to heal. Regular food like apples, sprats, etc. All heals as well. Just not as much, primarily just food
Hope hes see this
but the train brakes just fine with 0% loco brake and just service brakes so how does that work
@@AdamKuzniar Assuming this train is somewhat similar in operation to a Dash-7 (I don't know snit about Russian Electric Locos), then Loco Brake applies the Brakes on the Locomotive, and Main Brake applies the Brakes on every car in the train.
So the train will brake just fine without loco brake as long as you have some cars attached, though the couplers won't thank you.
Trying to stop the whole train with just the brakes on the locomotive is a losing proposition unless you have lots of time, especially on a grade.
On the flip side, Loco brake comes on immediately, and off immediately, and doesn't need to worry about charge pressure (so yes, apply loco brake first and then service brake, though not quite for the reason given above)
Dynamic brakes (I see the lever here in game, but Is not yet functional in game, or the loco isn't fitted?) basically work like Loco brake, except they can only slow the loco, not keep it parked, are a bit smoother and more efficient/powerful, work better at speed and worse once you slow down, and have a whole different set of wear and load monitoring to keep an eye on - voltage loads and dissipator heat, rather than shoe heat and air pressure.
Mechanically, Loco Brake works kinda like a car brake, and a lot like a truck brake - Air pressure from your compressor is used to press a brake shoe against the wheel and slow it by friction, just like a brake pad clamping against the brake disc behind a car wheel.
The Main brakes have the same shoe friction system, but you have a whole train length of piping to pressurise/depressurise, and they are at full lock in the no-pressure state, as a fail-safe measure - if the cars snap loose from the loco, they loose air, and the brakes come on. If the loco's air compressor fails, you can still brake by letting the air out of the line, you just can't release them again till its fixed.
The Dynamic brake works by disconnecting the motors from the genset and instead connecting them to a big fat heater. An electric motor and a generator are the same device, except one gets power fed into it to make it spin, the other is spun to make power. The wheels are spinning, so if you stop pumping electricity into the motors, they start producing it instead, slowing as the energy is bled out by the resistance this creates. Having no load on the circuit from these would be bad(tm), for the same reason any other high voltage short circuit is bad, so a big heater on the roof of the loco turns the electricity into heat. And then heatsinks and fans mounted to that heater get rid of that heat before it melts or catches the locomotive on fire (unless you fail to watch the aforementioned temp gauges)
In theory you can do something useful with this electricity, like how EV cars put it back into the batteries, but a train doesn't tend to have much on board that needs large amounts of power but only some of the time, except for the motors, and you very much aren't powering those when you are braking a locomotive, unless you are trying to break a locomotive.
@@AdamKuzniarlol there's your answer, hope you were ready
5:02 The sand doesn't help you to break. It is only helpful when accelerating.
11:16 yo Dre, don’t forget you have an indicator let you know when the trains are coming.
12:22 i recommend using vegetables for healing. they are really common and cheap and they basically heal the same amount as the doctor sausage.
Love how Drae enters an intersection through a red light and the other conductor is the jerk.
😂
He also never turns his train off 🤣
Tried to snipe the conductor 😂this series is great .. I’d definitely watch more of this .. have a good weekend drae
9:39 yeah that train also got me. wasn't expecting it at all. 😀 edit:if you pay attention you will notice that you will get a red signal when that train starts coming in your direction so if you were paying attention it should be okay.
"Paying attention" is not his strong suit. :P
i love how Drae gets mad at the people shooting him
3:00 scared the bejezuz out of me.
I wonder if he realised he was still paying for that vodka after the shootout? 🤔😂
NO he did not realised haha drae
yeah drae is really becoming more of a hitman than a train conductor lol
"All I did was chainsaw a guy to death, why is everyone upset?"
Here is a tip if you want to know. If you pwn the people at the hangar you can basically steal as many train parts that you can carry.
Drae, you need to connect the wagon with the locomotive manual i think to use the wagon brakes.❤❤
could you go back to gold rush the game? i still watch your series from 6 years ago they added so much more since then so would you mind going in and trying it? the new DLC is pretty sweet to
Great video!
Have a shit day but listen to you I feel great again
Love this series, hope you keep playing it
great video😍
3:01 - scared the bejebus outta me
I didn't have this experience at all when travelling Moscow-Beijing ca 20 years ago, but then again I went on a Chinese train
I love this series so much and idk why 😂
Please keep this series going!
Hey Drae. Love your content bro
You did have a red light at the coss section where you crashed into the oncoming train 😂
good vid drae
Never bring a chainsaw to a shoot out lol
14:00 that sad trombone made it so much funnier
Banana

I was here in 10 mins 😎
Roadway is fine lol, Rail-Road way
Haha, Drae you Canadian madman, running the redlight, headon collision two times in a row, please never change😁
Yay! ^_^

I think that thats the worst pronunciation of kalashnikov that i have ever heard

Man, Drae, your human to bot comment ratio is out of control. Take a look at Linus Tech Tip's video on the software they found to automatically remove bot comments.
Im not sure if bots have become smarter or a good looking girl in a bikini commented on your video and mentioned you.
Yes
Day 15 of ask😅ng drae to play helldivers 2
