Ramsey - Isle of Man (2018)

My first flight at Ramsey didn't take place till December 2018. This video centres on the Northern coastal part of the town with its Promenade and the Mooragh Park behind. We pass where the Grand Island Hotel once stood - all that remains are its steps leading down toward the beach.
In the opening shot we see the stretch of water between the south pier of the harbour entrance down to the Queens Pier. This area has been in the news recently as a developer wants to create a Marina between these landmarks and reclaim/develop the beach area. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of this.
I will do more in Ramsey for 2019!

But we can't see the uncommon Ramsey Swing Bridge! Is it possible to see from the air how it rotates? It would be extraordinary!
BTW there is a curious vessel Silver River (cargo ship) at Ramsey harbour. She is smaller than other cargo ships and she is very old but still works! Greetings!
