Sure would be interesting to go back in time and visit this station in its heyday. Milwaukee Road built a substantial station to reflect the business in the area.
Thanks Jason for filming the train with the snowy background. For those of us who thrill at 2 inches of snow and close schools for miles around, your Snow action can make any grown person into a child wanting to build a snowman. thanks again Jason. Have a great week.
Too bad that they don't turn the historic Milwaukee Road Depot into a museum and restore it. I hate seeing places like that deteriorate. Nice video Jason.
24 cars roll through the chill to an unknown status by the time they hit Crivitz and see how long they have to sit. Perfect lighting on the depot and thanks for that long shot by your house that included the trees up on the hill with that big stand of green. For its day the Iron Mountain Depot covered the biggest city in the area and also would be a collecting place and hub for a Railway Express agency and the post office plus the passenger trade. It looks like Michigan 607 was a bit bumpy!
Jason, thank you for the coverage of railroading in the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin. These are trains I can't see at home. I especially like 1221. The SD9 is my favorite hood diesel.
Nice one, Jason, with the snowy background. Wonder if the current rulebook or signal rules cover semaphores. General Code did, at least through the 4th edition.
Hi Jason; You need to be where I live just north of Sherman NY. We have 4 1/2 feet of snow. And my door is totally blocked. Only way out of the house is using the Garage Door!!!! Fun….Fun!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Keep up the great job!!! DE N2JYG
With that derailment by Stiles Junction cleanup going on, this is where they could've used the Crivitz to Marinette line that they took out of service and my bet is the line is in too much disrepair/overgrowth to even be passable! They could've still then interchanged with CN in Marinette instead of Green Bay.
Just watched the chase part 2 where spring has sprung. I hope u reported those lousy ties and tracks down in Wisconsin and put those butt-hole Mow to work!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice video...be careful, if there is a lot of snow....Driving fast is then no option !! The Train is dancing boogie whoogie because of this bullshit track...Greetings from Germany !!
Yes we do like watching trains blasting through snow. Also saw green Freddy. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Hey Jason !!!Takes for the video & Enjoy the ""SNOW"" as look what Dunkirk, NY has to put up with in the past week !! 👍👍👍👍👍

Restaurant, civic center, or a museum dedicated to the history of Iron Mountain and the railroad. Lots of possibilities.
Does the ELS own it?
Also the VA hospital which serves northern Wisconsin and the UP

I Love watching and listening to your trains!
great posts thanks for sharing.
A sure sign of winter ... when there is a switch broom tucked into the handhold/grab iron on the locomotive
You got quite a snow fall. we got no more then 2 inches in three storms. the days of passenger service must been something to watch.
Those mechanical bells in iron mountain sound like they’re struggling.
a green freddy on this train thanks Jason !
502 running clean stack!
ELS should stock pile some panel track.
So good to see trains in my old stomping grounds. I enjoyed the U.P.

Frickin' 28°F here in NE in this afternoon. Some kind of "Arctic blast". No SNOW yet. First Nov it hasn't snowed for a while.
Regarding the snow, you're not wrong 😁. Cheers.
I enjoy that video👍👍

You keep missing the train 😂 finally at 3:37 it just in time
22 rail cars
Soon, it will be time to get the snow machine out.
Looks like some of those county roads will be in pretty bad shape after another winter.
Get an airboat and fish on the ice 1/8 inch to max thickness

Why do you keep calling Escanabe and Lakeville RR instead of its propert name.
he said "Lake Superior RR"... it did rather run together a bit....
@@BudmanPackfan at 3:48... don't think so but I guess we heard differently.
