    I have the stage3 1.0 with 205/80s and still on head bolts. It starts to spool at 2200 and makes serious steam. It’s perfect. I did put in a mild stall converter which helps get the turbo spinning faster.

    I just got my KC Stage 2 63x73 .84AR today 😃 I can’t wait to put this puppy in. She’s Purdy!!! 😍 It’s also just got 180/30 FF Stage 1.5 Injectors, with the Hydra (Jelibuilt tune), 4” DP, to a 5” axle dump exhaust. Riff Raff FRX X-over.…Doing the v-covers, glow-plugs, and harness. Might do the HPOP or at least seals/gaskets... (Truck has 150k on it). Idk yet….depends on $ Also, probably going to go ahead and do the hutch mod and might upgrade the intercooler on my way too. (Idk how much that helps with the 7.3’s).
    Truck is a 02 F-250, Single Cab, long bed. 6 spd manual. I have lots of plans for her. Hopefully she has many years to go.

    I have zf6 speed superduty and I bought the full stage 2 kit .84ar with up pipes , ebpv delete, 205/30. I ended up changing to a gtp38r with .84ar . The spool up is so much faster with Garrett not to mention the amazing turbo whistle.

    Thats some Gucci Chinesium. KC wants to corner a marketshare bolt on VGT for 7.3 would be it. Im sure the genius folks at KC have thought of this.

    I have a 99 f350 7.3 dually and I’d like to add something to give it just a little more get up and go when merging on interstate but don’t want to do or spend a ton but also want a little more whistle what would you guys recommend?

    • @MrWhiteTank
      @MrWhiteTank 5 місяців тому

      Intake, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, hydra chip, hutch mod and intercooler if you don’t have one. BD up pipes. 😉

    I ordered mine a year ago and got a stage 2 .84. I have minor upgrades and a Hydra stock sticks. I should have got the stage 1 after seeing this video. I have to wait to really hit on it to see the boost start.
    I was recommended from a rep at kc I'll be good with a stage 2 and if I want to upgrade injectors it will be better. Now I'm also seeing guys with 180/30 injectors still stick with a stage 1. I'm just dying to know what the difference would be with my setup in a stage 1

      Often times when there is a delay in spool up, its due to a small boost or exhaust leak. Give us a call or shoot an email and our Customer service can help walk you through testing and fixing.

    What about the guys who have a hydra chip, cold air and 5 inch turbo back exhaust. What's the best turbo option or just throw a aftermarket wheel on it?

      I'd contact them. They can help with your ultimate goals and how you use your truck. My thoughts are stage 1 with the .84 though, as you get the benefit of the sxe style turbine. Call KC though, I'm just a random idiot on the internet...

      Just like the large turbo companies we source the best parts possible from around the world. Many turbo parts are not even available to purchase from any US manufacturers. So we source the highest quality parts from Japan, malasia, USA, china, germany, mexico, etc., then have strict quality control and then we build everything to order in our manufacturing facility in Arizona.
