When I finally found it in the plastic 20oz, Cana, and 2 Litre bottles I was disappointed because they always seemed to lose their fizz 10 min after opening. Can sugar and glass bottle kept the fizz for HOURS. It's the only version I get now!

Room temperature root beer allows you to better taste the actual flavor. Cold is always more refreshing, but the flavor isn't as distinguishing. That said frosty is a low tier brand with a subpar taste, barqs generally will taste better depending on your preference
A local store in diamond lake Washington has the BEST sandwiches for the best price! We also have a Hutterite community I helped build their brick school for further south west of us and they have the cheapest potatoes and baked goods! The deal with most Amish communities if you approach them directly is a “minimum purchase” so you should expect truck fulls of produce and full sacks of flour batches of baked goods! A few hundred bucks vs thousands in the “worldly” shops. And also these people are the most helpful and respectful people ever!!! I swear the kids are well behaved and helped when and where they could and the women also had their part in helping!!! It depends on the rules they have… the Hutterites near me can use vehicles but the Amish community closer to me cannot. It’s just an amazing thing to experience

Old Order Amish tend to be hardcore with their beliefs and banish nearly all technologies aside from primitive tools. Sometimes they can skim around the rules though. As a fellow cowboy I approve of the beagle I have 3 setters that are my pride and joy but that little beagle is a bunny seeking missle of fun
I went to my local AMISH store in Pleasureville Kentucky and spent almost $400. My coworker whose a baker swears they have the best ingredients. When I was there they were making elbow macaroni. I bought a nice cutting board.
One thing i didn't know i needed in an Amish store: cash.

I have never stepped foot in an Amish store but I 100% can smell it in my head. Definitely smells “real” is the best way I can describe it 😂
