Glory to God, it never surprises me how God will show us everything He isn't, just to bring us to Who He Is...whether to the atheist (in this case), the agnostic, the secularist, the muslim, the hindu, the taoist, the buddhist, the religious, the philosopher, the criminal, the broken and the lost....Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Walking on water, raising Lazarus, turning water into wine. All these things are in opposition to my intellect. Still, when I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior I become at peace. Maybe it's because when turning to Jesus I acknowledge a power greater than "my intellect"? I don't know. I don't have to know anymore. All I know is I have a choice between Peace and Turmoil and I choose Peace.
When you seek Him, you will find him. And when you see Him, you can't unsee.
From my experience, it's more like He finds you.
