IRT Jerome Ave Line: (4) and (6) Trains @ 161st Street-Yankee Stadium (R62A, R142, R142A)

Manhattan and Bedford Park Blvd bound R142 and R142A (4) Trains with 149th Street bound R62A and R142 (6) Trains @ 161st Street-Yankee Stadium

Planned Work: Because of Track Maintenance, (6) Trains ran in two sections:
1. Between Pelham Bay Park and 125th Street
2. Between Brooklyn Bridge and 125th Street, and via the (4) Line to/from 149th Street-Grand Concourse
149th Street bound (6) Trains bypassed 138th Street-Grand Concourse
Planned Work: Because of Signal Maintenance, there were no (4) Train Service between Bedford Park Blvd and Woodlawn. Free shuttle buses provided alternate service between Bedford Park Blvd and Woodlawn

WHY I SEE A 6 TRAIN THAT SUS

How can the 6 run R62As on the 4 line in the Bronx? This cuts off access to Westchester Yard. This is when the 6 borrows the 4 line’s R142s and R142As.

Thats because those R62As were the last direct trains from Pelham Bay into Manhattan Friday night then they become the 1st trains to end at 149th street grand concourse and therefore about 2 or 3 sets end up laying up on the Jerome avenue line
