Sounds cozy
Route 1 will always live in my heart as the first theme on a long pokemon adventure through multiple games and years. I have to say it lends itself really well to more traditional Christmas instrumentation as well as a slower rhythm, fantastic work and happy holidays

No magic "christmas key". It's just the product of a particular mix between old-timey instrumentation with specific rhythmic and harmonic elements. The harmonic stuff was already there c:
