Both nature study and poetry tea time have been things that were hard always hard for me to fit into our homeschool despite really wanting that beauty and simplicity. This year a friend and I started a small coop (6 families ) to focus on these two topics and it’s been soo amazing and refreshing. As well as being a sense of normalcy for our kiddos.
I liked seeing how you incorporate nature study in your homeschool! I liked how you settled on dedicating a day to it instead of trying to squeeze it in. Just another example of how homeschool really isn't a one size fits all. Thank you so much for hosting this collab!

A few weeks ago, we had a heat wave where I live. It was barely 40 degrees and it was almost the same temperature in Florida on the same day. You all were freezing and we were loving the heat. Ha ha!!! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas.

The candles were super cute and I can really tell the kids enjoyed making them. Nature walks really help also in letting the kids see what the environment has to offer and easier to explain other subtopics such as preservation, recycling etc

How has ENWC worked for you living in South Florida? We are in Costa Rica and only have rainy season and dry season... It seems like most of the topics won't be observable here... Has that been your experience?
What kind of microscope do you recommend for nature study?
I know this is totally off topic, but what did you use to mount the banjo to the wall? I'm looking for something similar for our guitar.
