Omg rip im here because I wanna memorialise my own account I’m just over Facebook and I wanna shock people who taught I was dead most people think I wanna kill myself which I don’t
Thank you brother for helping me, my baby cousin, Dad owned a Facebook account and he passed away friday so now I can see who can memorize his account without actually trying to delete it
Thanks for the information, as im still alive ,but some one has Memorialized my account so cant get access..a lot hard work gone in my accounts and pages as sure get round it some how, its upsetting and frusting as most of business is on face book
I thought there might be a way you can not only memorialize someone's account, but also have access to their account just like your own. It would be nice to post some memories as though it was them posting it.
I actually don’t want to memorialize this account unless my father can still use it. My father would like to use it but he does not know her (mother, deceased) password. What can I do in this case?
I have the same question. My neighbour died from cancer, she didn't have kids or some close relatives. I don't have her profile as a friend on Fb, but I would like to memorialize her account.
Oh interesting question. I suppose you could create a normal Facebook account, then memorialize it. But maybe easier would be to create a business or community page and just indicate the purpose as a memorial for someone who's passed.
Almost 3 weeks ago my great grandfather has passed away from cancer. Rest In Peace James my PapPaw I will see you again someday. 1938-2022

You skipped over the part I'm having trouble with. I can't seem to upload photo of my sister's obituary.

@@Mykitchenchanne1 No. Contacted facebook about it but never heard back
So helpful! Thank you for this!!!
Is there anyway to memorialize an account if you don't have the person who passed fb password?
I just Did from my account just submit proof of death
Helped me memorialize my dad's aunt's FB account.
How much time needs to make a account memorialize?
Does memorializing a fb account affect the account itself say I could access my loved ones account would everything become null
You will not be able to access it anymore.
Haley Butler well I figure I won’t ever get the info to do it so o well I guess
God bless you

What if your family member wasn't friends with you on FB?

What do I do if the deceased has 3 Facebook accounts?
I hate to ask a personal question? Do you have to prove this person died? We think someone is trying to scam us about a friend
thank you for this
I'm about to troll someone
Is it possible to create a new, original memorial page on Facebook for someone who did NOT have an account?
Oh interesting question. I suppose you could create a normal Facebook account, then memorialize it. But maybe easier would be to create a business or community page and just indicate the purpose as a memorial for someone who's passed.
@@AskFarGeek ; thank you for your response. I will attempt a community page and see if that goes through.
@@AskFarGeek will it work if I'm not friends with them on Facebook?
What happened to your mouse in your computer?
THank you
Doesn't work anymore.
