2023 January 13th~16th i had a "great" time with my family mid trip however my dad went to go get pizza that was advertised saving grace it was🤌👌🙌 when he came back there were rocks on the entrance to Cooper's creek Rd along with a farm mesh gate with a no trespassing sign or something like that on it blocking his path we found that very rude and dispicable. Then there's the foreigners omg the level of disrespect every night until early morning they play foreign music litter in plan site they walk through your camp site improperly use the public toilets very disgusting leaving their campsite a mess and using drugs the list goes on. I'm pretty sure there's homeless people permanently living there just before the path way down to the pristine rock pool and it looks like a tip i witnessed them using drugs and littering heavily as well. They were still there when we left as of 9:30am 16th of January 2023 yes we left early in the morning as we couldn't wait to leave and never come back maybe for the pizza and that's it. RIP Cooper's creek.
We try to get down there but the dirt road is not suitable for an mx5. You need a 4 wd
