Mt. BAW BAW RESORT SKI, TOBOGGAN, SNOW PLAY (VIC, AUSTRALIA)

We went on July 2022, but I put up this year prices (2023).
Mount Baw Baw is famous for family friendly snow play in Victoria, Australia.
It was such a beautiful and big area to do snow play whatever that suits you and your family. For overseas tourists, you can just rent the outfit out at the resort so no need the hustle to carry bulky items. Most important clothing for snow play(any), snow overall pants (waterproof), snow boots and snow gloves. You can wear your own puffer jacket as you won’t get too wet on the upper body.
Just please consider that the temperature normally under 0 degree, but not generally lower than -10 degree.
You are responsible to carry snow chain (you can rent it on the way to the resort), and some days you MUST use the snow chain when the weather is heavy snowy (which they can help to put it on your wheels, pay about $15)
Please make sure check the website few days prior your plan date including the day of your trip for latest snow information.

Which month was it recorded? Do we have to chain up the car tyres or can we go without it ?

It was end of July last year. Please check the website, as it always update daily how thick the snow so you can plan ahead. You don’t have to use the chain when the weather is fine, but must bring it (can rent it on the way too) There will be the sign on the way if we need to use the chain. Hope that helps.
