from the Mammoet vids I've seen so far , this is the most incredible company on the planet. they custom build equipment specifically for the single job. that's incredible. one use only. THEN what the hell do they do with it ? if they scrap it they're only gonna get pittance of what it's worth. wow special custom made cranes too ?? wow these guys ARE fkg good ! maybe they should call them to raise the Titanic. only they could do it from what I'VE seen on these vids.
Very little is scrapped after the job. The storehouse at the homebase in Schiedam NL houses a large collection of "one offs" and are used in a modified form later on.

***** Yeah I know it's the torque that matters, but I'm still surprised they only make 550 hp. Then again, horsepower is for speed I guess; something that is irrelevant with a big move like this.
I've hauled their trucks, 9' wide auxiliary transmissions planetary gearing and a weight box carrying 35'000lbs for a total weight of 73'000 lbs per truck.. Anymore than 550hp and they'll be unable to maintain traction
What I want to know is who and how did " someone " put the trillithon in the wall at ballbek Lebanon. Each of the 3 blocks weigh in at about 800 tons and are butted up to each other with no room in between. Somebody got a answer? Thanks.
Imagine...only if a quadcopter could carry this with power cables on the sides powering the quadcopter...problem solved...and the quadcopter...only needs to be powered by one of the trucks...so when there is an overpass, one power cable is disabled while the other cable still runs the quadcopter...clearly it's a superior plan and it would work...(Hopefully others get the reference to what I'm talking about...)
I don't care what anyone else will say, I will say this for mammoet they have their shit all in once sock when it come to moving heavy equipment. question; is the plane in operation now? Is mammoet still working on site with this company? I know you will not tell me; how much did it cost to move those three chokers fropm A to point B and install them.? Thank you for the Videos they were out standing.
Mammoet is top notch. Unmatched

Mammoet could likely recover the Titanic, if it were legal to do so and someone had the budget.

Materiel de chantier de tres grande qalite et de technologie. Impressionnant!!
I live in Edmonton. CANADA EH?
The tractors only have 550 hp? That doesn't sound like alot for something this big...

Sgt C4 its the lack of spark plugs since diesel is just compressed not sparked so it makes a TON of torque but little Bhp

I wonder what happens to the trailers do they go to a meausuem?
The actual trailers will be used on many other jobs. They are modular.

Strong trucks
Why does the Canada/US insist on using pounds instead of tons/tonnes? and they run on wheels not tyres ffs.
