I spent many years working as a hydraulics tech, specialized in high pressure closed loop systems. Built machinary for the offshore oil&gas industry. Just wanted to say Mammoet is one hell of a company. Nothing you guys can't do......so glad you put thrse videos out for the rest of us to see.
Mammoet's success is very clear, the engineers drive this company. The bidding process goes through the engineers to first decide how the job is to be done, then to the money men who figure out the cost.
I think the format was fun, what you guys do is interesting and I feel like you'll end up in the youtube algorithm soon enough with high production value, in the current climate.
The video is cool, but the editing is a bit too slick and fast paced. I think your main audience is mostly gear heads. So if you can hold a little longer on the action so we can watch and think. Thanks for taking us along!
Longer videos would be good....massive projects in 3:00 minutes don't do justice to the accomplishments and scale of Mammoet. But, short is better than nothing.
When I started watching, my first thought was "why didn't they break it down into more manageable chunks?" ... and then the realization hit that they did! Wow.
I'm always impressed with the stuff this company pulls off, like moving the new radiation containment building over the damaged reactor #4 at Chernobyl.
@@MammoetHeavyLifting they have made your job so much easier thank you for replying to my comment wasn't expecting a reply thanks keep up the good work...
Mammoet is playing a whole different ballgame. Caterpillar makes great machines for (de)construction and mining, etc. Mammoet specializes in moving the truly enormous and monsterously heavy objects of our world. The name is Dutch for mammoth :)
B Laquisha My guess is that because they had already gone to the time and expense of moving the SPMTs to the location it was easier and quicker to simply use them
Impresionante trabajo, esas ruedas que usan para mover los gigantescos y pesados odjetos que transportan, por lo visto no tienen límite, pueden mover desde barcos hasta maquinaria enorme,es asombroso 😱
Good Question. The mine owner had previously attempted to drive the rock crusher downhill however, the crusher experienced a loss of braking power and the operation could not be completed safely.
It appears that the crusher was capable of moving itself why did your company have to do it? Also the video was over edited I am interested in the process I need more!
Hello- The Mine owner had attempted to drive the rock crusher downhill themselves; however, the crusher experienced a loss of braking power and the operation could not be completed safely. Moving it using this method also decreased downtime. Thanks for watching!
Hi Vance, the crusher is able to be driven on its own. The mine owner had previously attempted to drive the rock crusher downhill themselves, but it experienced a loss of braking power and the operation could not be completed safely.
perfect, thanks for sharing. not like being in the process but close enough, great video despite what some are whining... have ya'll every moved a mountain? very curious...excellent work.
It’s always funny to see that Americans always wear sunglasses even when it rains. 😂 But why do they use the relatively heavy SPMTs to move a conveyor belt of a few tons? I still do understand that for the engine room but the rest of it is beyond me. However, nice yob.👍👍
High energy and clean hands... Never sits OR sets well with the guys actually doing it... Meaning, The job... So... Keep your high enthusiasm.. stay out of the bathhouse.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 BUTT definitely a nice A complete job 🤙🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍
Johnny Davis Haha my colleague mentioned the same thing. The sound bites were taken every morning So i started the day clean but believe me, i was filthy by the end of everyday. I love getting my hands on the work and Cherish every moment away from my desk.

Yep.... One can't catch up with the pace 😋
Thanks for the feedback, Michael!

Great to see these younger guys out there making it happen! Great video with the coolest toys.
Thanks Danny
This is not an action movie. Changing cameras that zoom in and out every 2 seconds is really difficult to watch.
Thanks for your feedback
When I started watching, my first thought was "why didn't they break it down into more manageable chunks?" ... and then the realization hit that they did! Wow.
That is some serious moving company and all in a quarry moving a rock crusher...!
I like the new style generally but maybe hold down the pace of the editing a little? It felt a bit frantic in places.
thanks for your feedback Jim
Maybe more like a documentary or training video....rather then a sales video.. ;)
A great movie! Patrick, great lector :-)
I am waiting for more such productions!
Thank you for your support! Glad you enjoyed it!
It promises to be an interesting movie. I can not wait for the premiere!

by the time my eyes focused on the picture it changed. couldn't watch it. i love these big moves though. wish I could watch them
Thanks for your feedback
What a great video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
The editing is just horrific. And the shooting. I don’t understand what happened in this video. The old videos were better....
Thanks for your feedback
Wherever you put Dennis in charge you will get amazing results! What an amazing old guy i got to meet working in Punta Catalina project!
Dennis and the rest of the team did a great job. They make us proud #madeformammoet
These remote controlled units have changed heavy lifting and moving big time..
We agree! Great technology!

Awesome video love the longer format!!
We are glad you enjoyed it!
Love the new format told by the team the men who love there job . Thank you
thanks Craig
What was the approximate price tag on this project?
Caterpillar is huge but seems smaller than Mammoet. They are the real world Transformers. ❤️❤️

Sin duda...una increíble maniobra...saludos desde México.
Was the main crusher not able to move on it’s own?
Maybe not down an incline like that? Just a guess.
Says it lost brakes in the description. Cheaper to hire Mammoet than to fix it I guess.
Looks like a little bit of overkill for the conveyor trusses too. They really don't weigh that much.

Is there anything Mammoet can't lift?

Well Done Chiefs Very Interested Incredible Awesome Unbelievable
Yes it does look. Good ,
Great job!
The rock crusher has wheels so why wasn’t it driven or towed to the new location?
Good Question. The mine owner had previously attempted to drive the rock crusher downhill however, the crusher experienced a loss of braking power and the operation could not be completed safely.
good job 👍🏽

A job well done..👍🏻👍🏻
The anchor man did not present a particularly serious approach.

Crushing, 200 years, Mammoet. Coalmine?
Tell your editor to not screw with the color.. also less crack..
Haven't these self powered trailers been around 30+ years, so your just using what's on the market.
Your a bit late but well done.
Awesome.... I will call you when I move my time...😁😁
Sorry, but stopped watching after a minute or 2 with this color style in the edit.
gooood job
Haha taki kraj bogaty w Polsce te maszyny same się przemieszczają w kopalni odkrywkowej .

I am so very proud of Mammoet which roots lay in the Netherlands

Jerky editing is horrible. So hard to watch.
