this song has such a strange root in my memory back to when i was much younger, about 10 or so years ago i was up late at night, around 1am i think, and i flipped to cartoon network or funimation, i cant remember which. an anime came on right as this song came on in my headphones, and i had the volume off to not disturb my parents or brothers. i vaguely remember the main characters was a girl and a black cat, and i still cant remember the name of the anime. as i watched, this song for some reason shook me and made me inexplicably break into tears while watching that anime. i may love this song now, but back when that was a fresh memory i always turned this song off because it would dredge up those memories of unexplained sadness and dread, and i still think about that anime every time i hear this song, and it never leaves my mind.

this song has such a strange root in my memory back to when i was much younger, about 10 or so years ago
i was up late at night, around 1am i think, and i flipped to cartoon network or funimation, i cant remember which. an anime came on right as this song came on in my headphones, and i had the volume off to not disturb my parents or brothers. i vaguely remember the main characters was a girl and a black cat, and i still cant remember the name of the anime. as i watched, this song for some reason shook me and made me inexplicably break into tears while watching that anime. i may love this song now, but back when that was a fresh memory i always turned this song off because it would dredge up those memories of unexplained sadness and dread, and i still think about that anime every time i hear this song, and it never leaves my mind.

one detail i think i can remember is that there was a scene there they were under a stone bridge, or maybe just near a wall of stones, but i cant say for certain. thats all my brain can muster because i was too busy crying, i think.
