Glad you could appreciate me not being all "oh my god this is amazing!" 😅 I never really feel like hyping something when it's not worth hyping. I understand they can't always introduce something truely refreshing and that the philosophy is to drip feed alternative playstyles through weapon "sidegrades" but these weapons don't offer much variety on top of what's already available.
Honestly, i don't understand why poeple get angry about the warbond, it's not like it's a forced tech tree to get to better weapons after, you can litterally choose to not unlock the warbon or just unlock it when everything else was unlocked. And it prob is going to be subject to change like all the other weapons anyway.
Some people can get réally worked up about it but there's plenty of other weapons to choose from. And you're right, you don't HAVE to unlock it all. Plus, the more "exotic" a new weapon will be, the harder it will be hit by balancing updates. BUT: within a weapon class I would like to see a clear profile from one SMG to the other for example so that it plays more into the planning element. Like one SMG really fit for Automaton medium enemies and another for Terminid low ones.
