    Edit: That seasoning must stay in our refrigerator. It goes in everything 😂 Plus the cleaning meat thing, you ain’t lying! Lime and boiling water goes on all meats, and vinegar goes on some.

    I'm from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 and 😊I had Girot at a food festival, and it was the very 1st dish I had and omg I fell in love with it so I'm here to learn how to make my own. Is this the authentic way or you made a few changes? Awwe😊some job!

      This is very authentic, the only difference is that it is always DEEP FRIED

    Oh, I always braised the whole shoulder then cut in chunks🤷, makes a great braiding liquid but sometimes a lot shreds, I eat that part🥺🥺 lol.ty

    Nope, you gotta clean your meat. I am a classically trained chef and use to get yelled at by my chef instructors when I was in culinary school, because I would clean my meat with some form of acid.
