- If you're looking for process group therapy facilitation techniques or want to understand more about group therapy or group counseling, then hi! I'm Oliver and I'm a certified goup therapist and licensed marriage and family therapist. I occasionally teach group processes as an Adjunct Professor, and this is one of my favorite skills to teach - it is simple for you to learn, and you can use it in your next group therapy session. Interpersonal group dynamics are improved easily and readily if you know this basic of skills we call 'bridging'. This is a Modern Group Psychotherapy skill that I think should be an essential part of training for therapists or those in social work - I've used this in all my groups - with teens and adults and no matter what the subject of your group - be it depression or anxiety or anything, this video will provide you with a terrific skill you need and can use immediately.
