@what's up, the video is well presented. What else do you want? 1 minute and 29 seconds and you have to find something to complain about.
    Good job ladies

Agree! There's ALWAYS that one person.
Even cute videos with babies and puppies have MULTIPLE negative comments.
I should rephrase that. There's ALWAYS those many people........

I so much appreciate the kindness and compassion of those who seek to help people all over the world via web posts that help people to live long and prosper. The people of love spread their love to all of the people across the world's rainbow of every color, every faith, every nationality, every sexual inclination, every sex, every age, every decent, kindly person!
When we begin to despair, let us remember the vast army of kind and decent people who work ceaselessly to benefit everyone, everywhere. Love them, praise them, trust them, be uplifted by them, thank them for their loving kindness, honor their compassion, be taught by their examples!
Muslims reach out to Christians and Jews, atheists reach out to Shintoists and animists, Environmentalists reach out to sea turtles and songbirds, Buddha reached out to every self aware being, everywhere, to lessen their suffering, activists reach out to the wrongly convicted. For every atrocity and cruelty, there are those who spread their love over the world to help the victims of cruelty and wrongful conviction. For every child who is hungry, there are donors half the world away who contribute to feed these hungry victims. When you acknowledge the darkness, acknowledge the light that shines everywhere! For every Torquemada, there is a Schweitzer, for every Hitler, there is a Jesus, for every owner of a slaughterhouse, there is Saint Francis, for every slaver, there is a John Brown. For every Trump voter, there are two Biden voters. For every Nazi, there were two heroes who gave their lives to stop Hitler's genocide and mass murder. Be uplifted by the bright light that shines everywhere, forever! Join it, amplify it, Be a drop in its bucket, where your tiny drop shines eternally!

I've still got mine and I've found I can only put the volume cylinder up to a little over 2500 ml. My lungs just don't seem to have much capacity beyond that.
I don't know who could possibly get it _anywhere_ close to the 5000 ml mark.
You'd need the lungs of a horse to do that!

At what ml level should a healthy person's breathing be? I can't seem to be able to get it above 1000 mL and that too with great effort!

I used one of these when I was little because I couldn't breathe on my own so when I would use a machine to help me breathe, I would use this thing every so often to see if I had improved.

Hi! I would also like to use a small portion of your video in a course if possible (52 sec-1:11). I am trying to help pharmacy students differentiate between IS, peak flow meters, and spirometry. I would, of course, include an appropriate credit/citation :) Thanks for considering.

Hello, I use a Volodyne 4000, and if iI breath deeply, the small control piece goes up to the top , and I attain 3500 4000 cc WHat is the problem of breathing "too strong" ? If I keep the control in, the middel "best "position I attain 3000, but knowing I can go higher I am a little "frustrated " ;) I did begin the exercices after an heart surgery, but also after 2 successive leaver operations, plus a generalized infection. bad luck. I thought I was in really good shape, I do exercices every day a little and one day on 2 musculation and stronger exercices. But yesterday I felt really dizzy afer a simple stairs about 1.5 floor heigh, with an arm loaded with a bag about 2.5 kg . I am attentive to my respiration, is it possible that I have a problem with the elimination of Co2 (I seem tyo understand that when a pneumologist was making tests on me in the close glass cabin, but he did not try to have final results and let me go without certitudes) Thank you for your comments.

Do you inhale slowly or inhale slowly to move the marker up. Some videos say slowly inhale and some videos say slowly exhale????? Or, does it make a difference? I'm confused.

Before you use the spirometer, you would want to exhale all the air out of your lungs. Once you completed that, you would place the device/tube in your mouth and INHALE constantly at a slow pace. From what I was taught, try to keep the yellow tab between "best" and "better" while lifting the yellow hockey puck in the middle as high as possible.

    To whomever it may concern,
Hello! I'm a student at an international school in Seoul (Dwight School Seoul). I would like to ask for your permission to use part of your video of using the spirometer as part of my video. I will only be using the part where you are using the spirometer and I will make sure to give you credit in the credits section, fully and completely. I will not use this part of the video for anything to earn money elsewhere and I will just use this video for educational purposes. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this message.
Sincerely, a student at Dwight School Seoul
