Haha cold. Hes cosy and funky and fun. Van Alden aint vanilla, van goghing with the flow like nothin chiller.
I disagree with Amy's comments on the movie. It is "painfully" obvious throughout the movie that the character of Susan is trying to reconnect with Edward and herself in a way in search of a time of happiness and what naturally felt right. It is quite ridiculous & lazy to say that final seen represents a new beginning. That is actually what got her on that route to unhappiness to begin with by listening to her mother and that new beginning approach is exactly what a friend or family member who doesn't understand the situation would say.
To have a "new beginning" at that moment is a form of denial and ignoring your own emotions, as I said earlier she clearly wants to reconnect so to give up after one stand up is weak minded. Search for the truth until your ready to let go.
TheHiddenAnswer Ford himself has said that he believes the ending to my the closing of her current chapter so I don't think she's that far off
TheHiddenAnswer the ending is deliberately ambiguous, so you're interpretation is just as valid as Amy's. I had a different feeling from both of you. I didn't feel although she texted him back, and was simply sitting alone looking at life passing her by.
