koykah I heard a story from someone that recognized him on the street, and he told Shannon how much of a fan he was of his work - and I guess he was just so cool about it, and really appreciated him saying how much he liked his work.
So ya ... he definitely seems like a good dude.
And he’s a fukin *INCREDIBLE* actor. Whoever hasn’t seen his performance in “Take Shelter” ... He is fukin phenomenal in it. It’s a great, great movie.

***** I'm not sure why you say that? It's not as if he's doing generic one-note roles, he's been quite diverse and done a lot of passion projects as well as the few more popular ones (Man of Steel, Boardwalk) for the masses.
I really like him too, especially his work with Jeff Nichols, but he's only really underrated or underutilized if you only watch what Hollywood give us. Not everyone has t be over or underrated.

Amoeba yeah I'm real curious as to what music he likes and what he grew up listening to as well. Is he a vinyl guy or cd's? Most people get a mix of music they know of or owned before(grew up with) and also stuff they haven't owned yet but want to hear. Then there's also all the movies or shows they can get on DVD so you just never know. Especially there at Amoeba where the selection is insanely huge. That would make it so hard to shop because of all the options. Maybe Bruce will come in with Sam together and we'll get a double feature.

I loved this dude in Machine Gun Preacher and Boardwalk Empire. I wouldn't have watched that show if it wasn't for his character. Taken aback a bit by how down to earth he is in this, and hearing about music he likes is just super fascinating.

Why do people keep focusing just on his appearance ? Do you really have nothing else to say about him ? That's just the way he looks and there is nothing wrong about that. He is just being himself and that makes him different from other movie stars. He is not just another handsome Holywood star, he is authentic. And that is why he is interesting person in my opinion and I would love to meet him and have a chat with.

I saw it and, eh, I prefer 'Take Shelter' and 'Mud'. He's excellent in all of them, and can't wait to see him work with Jeff Nichols again in 'Midnight Special' and 'Loving'.
