Fancy this walk sometime as a wee winter walk. Looks anything but wee. 😁 Was researching on walk highlands and up ye popped. Back in your younger days eh. 😉
Did this walk yesterday (7th Sept). My fitness confidence is still pretty low, re Munros etc, but don't want to give up, so choosing walk to keep me ticking over. Turns out over 1000m ascent! Bog mostly firm. Not sure I didn't take a more direct route up Culter Fell. Did you pass the line of stone shelters (shooting spots?) on the way up? Pretty enjoyable apart from the wind farm bit. Agree there was one turbine needing new bearings I think, very noisy😅!!
Brilliant John! It's a fair old trek and probably harder than alot of munro days! Well done! I didn't go up the shoulder where the grouse buts are. I went around the left of the hill and came up from the back. Something different as I had walked straight up twice before. It was quite boggy if I remember but all this dry weather will certainly help! If you can do this walk you shouldn't have any issues with more munros?..I am up in Assynt just now trying to bag some northern munros but the weather has been poor! Hey ho, that's the gamble. Well do e again, it's a good walk. Cheers Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 Cheers Paul. I think I've got a fair bit of apprehension to overcome re tackling Munros again. Need to get a successful day under my belt again. Anyway, weather north west seems a bit iffy just now. Hope you manage to get some walking done. If not, is there a pub nearby 😀?

Brilliant! Felt as if I was on that journey with you as I was relaxing on the couch. Lovely views! Loving the stick
The stick is a winner. And it was free. 😊

Harris liked watching that before bed and seeing the hills and wind turbines :)
