3.30am in the UK and I woke up to this. I really enjoyed it. I'm guessing that just popping in to town for the replacement bit of kit isn't 10 minutes each way 🤔 oh to have such space here. Well done on the dog.
G'day from France. Nice mix of content this week. Impressed by your turn of speed in the cattle yard. I used to be able to do that when I had horses that didn't want to be caught. You're looking well rested this week and you must be pleased catching the dog. Our summer just kicking in with temperatures touching 30 degrees. Our Aussie friends arrived last week (good to catch up on what's going on the other side of the world. They're from Gippsland.). Look forward to you're next posting.
Great content love it keep up the great work also your fast from a standing start so you might consider running the dogs down all the best from Scotland
Thanks for another great day at your wonderful office Josh and Tish. I always feel like a steak whenever you show stock work. I once came across a Kelpie that was still working stock at 18 and a CATtle dog who was still being helped on and off the ute to pitch in a bit at 13 and died at 15 a couple of weeks before his last litter arrived so there may be life in the old boy yet. I hope you get the rest of that pack before they do any more damage.
Welcome back Josh .. absolutely beautiful sharing adventure documentary countryside and you doing such an amazing job .. thanks again and have a wonderful blessing weekend ..
I'm on a small acreage at home, and i had a bitch turn up yesterday morning. first wild dog off my property. we have a lot of roo's in our paddock, we have no livestock, and they always let me know when there's a predator, mostly fox's, in the paddock by all standing bolt upright and looking in the direction of the danger. every time i walk outside, i scan the paddock with a thermal. traps aren't much good for me as we have a heap of bandicoots who set them off. great video, had a chuckle at the front gate open run, something i would do, but you move much quicker than I.
You may write. I was out checking my sheep Wends morning, there's a fox wandering around a irrigation paddock. Creek frontage with many trees 500 m away. But this out in the open trotting around. Of course no gun & a 10 year working dog. It got away.
Cameras are only able to get what is in range when they trigger, they provide minimum info, not maximum (numbers & individuals). Excellent info, but not necessarily comprehensive. A timelapse at 5 or 10 sec intervals alongside gives food for thought about how trail cams can miss some targets. Having to take traps out when having such an attractive bait makes it hard. Is access the problem? Good turn of speed in the yards, shake out the sleepiness.
Another good one Josh, cheers from South Coast NSW.😄😄
Thanks mate.
You moved like greased lightning to shut that gate 😂😂
Great video josh. Much better than the rubbish on commercial T.V. 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks mate 👊
