Ingredients:
1 kilo baby back ribs
1 liter rootbeer (mug)
1/2 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 cups water
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp cane vinegar
1 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne powder
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
*approximately 3/4 - 1 cup of baby back ribs broth

tried ths recipe earlier!! approve sya. this recipe is more on the sweet side. saktong sakto lamg ung amount ng sauce na nagawa ko for 2kg of ribs using the given recipe. medyo kinabahan pako kanina kasi nung tinikman ko ung ribs pagkakulo antamis. un namang sauce may pagka maanghang. pero nung inihaw ko na magksama tamang tama ung lasa. will definitely cook this again.

Tried this... with some alterations because of unavailability of some ingredients.
No cayenne, no mustard.
But I added "mixed bbq powder" to the rest of the ingredients....

Too bad that we don't have SARSI (my favorite drink). It has a stronger kick than the MUG root beer.
Pan grilling works also, but if you would have a chance to replicate this recipe one more tim, try using charcoal grill, we can gurantee you better tasting ribs. 😉
Yeah agree, sarsi is better but we no longer have that bigger size available here in phils..( not sure wer u located). Mug is A brand that is more common here.

Though I agree with the taste regarding the charcoal grill, but it's not possible to use it inside a residential building in M.Mla.
I can't find any Sarsi nowadays even the canned ones, and it's expensive compared to the other available brands in p.e.t. bottles.

nice recipe. may I ask if I can use dijon mustard and granulated onion instead of the regular mustard and onion powder? yan lng po kasi available for now sa kitchen namin. tnx for sharing this
we havent tried using dijon with this recipe,. magkaiba amg character ng lasa nila,. more or less may slight diference sa result.. pero since small part lang naman ang mustard sa recipe cguro ok lang nman gamitin.. it doesnt hurt to try anything new lalo na sa mga recipes.. well sa granulated onion prehas lang nman sila ng onion powder. form lang pinagkaiba nila.. thanks! 😀

Yes pwede,.. preferably slow braised kagaya sa recipe.. pero if pressure cooked naman ang gagawin pwede walang problema, alalay ka lang sa tagal ng pagpapakulo dapat tama lang ang lambot.. do it 15 to 18 minutes muna dagdag ka nlang if kulang pa.. thanks! 😀

depende sa lugar nyo, sa groceries may mga bottled rootbeer brands na pwede pagpiliian.pwede rim.cola but for now hinde pa namen ma recommend kasi hinde pa namen ito na try.. Thanks for watching! 😁😀

Na try ko to kanina ,oki lang ang sauce pero ang meat d masyadong malasa na pahiya tuloy ako sa bisita ko..napaka simple lang din ng dating ng sauce matamis na walang ibang lasa at bland ang meat ..nasayang lang gastos ko
0:49 mukang di po 1/2 tsp of salt yung nilagay nyo sa video. Maramiraming salt po iyong nilagay nyo.
Please take note sa recipe na to ay 1/2 SALT yan ang tamang sukat at sundin.. kung medyo nabilang mo ung nilagay namen na asin sa video...dont you worry masarap parin that is our preferrence.. ilang beses na namen niluto ito,.. nasasainyo if gusto nyo dagdagan.. we suggest try the recipe so u would know.. Hello Arcielle, you may do that walang problema.. kaso hinde kasi naten makukuha yung tamang lasa if pan fried,. mas ma achieve naten yung hack if i charbroiled or grilled.. Thanks!

Sour taste from regular vinegar is more potent compare to cane vinegar..So You may use the regular however, adjust to 1 tbsp only,.
