33:00 about Magic bites: it is Urban fantasy. Sometimes only techology (cars, guns, ...) work and sometimes only magic works. It is a slow burn romance series (Kate Daniels series is completed but there are ongoing spin off series focused on other characters). You have Vampires (which are actually necromancers), shifters (lion, hyena, ...) and other good things. I first read the series many years ago and I remembered it being fun but honestly I wasn't sure that I would still like it years later, but I wanted to read the last few books. So at the beginning of last year I reread the whole series and LOVED it. The humor is amazing, the romance is actual slow burn with a LOT of tension. The characters all feel real, and you get really attached to the side characters too. The worldbuilding was on another level. Basically it made me laugh sooo much that I had to take pauses because i couldn't see the words anymore; but it also made me tear up. ... just writing this comment makes me wanna go reread it right now... I was supposed to go to sleep; but now I am really tempted to start rereading it again hahaha (Oh and in the 4 Horsemen series by Laura Thalassa the 3rd book FAMINE was my FAVE. I think it is in my top 10 fave romance books (I love snarky sarcastic main characters.. and in Famine they are BOTH sassy and sarcastic. I think Ana is one of my fave female characters ever and she and Famine really balanced each other))
It surprised me that you’re getting rid of Legendborn! I thought it’d be up your alley. Clearly I’m biased because I loved it, sooooo. 😂 Edit: I loved your southern accent. 🤣
magic bites is part of the kate daniels series and it's my fave series of all time! it's urban fantasy and it has a great romance and super fun characters and plotlines!
I just unhauled 40 books earlier today and guess what was the first video I saw when I opened YT? This one!!!! The universe rarely aligns like this for me and I'm loving it!
You've prob already had this idea, but it might be cool to see a vlog where you read some of the books that were saved and kept bc they sounded good to you when they were on the cut pile. Maybe like one off each shelf? AS in, one YA, one romance, etc... I feel the same about the Jen Deluca books. Loved! the first, hated the second, want to read the third and see if the series is redeemed.
I also have an unread closet that books go to die. 😔 No bookstore close means most of my Adult Fantasy and Romance just sit collecting dust. I really gotta figure out Pango for 2023 😂
Well matched is so good! I dnfd book 2 so I was worried but that one is top notch. It had a himbo hero and the heroine is older and it’s just great I love the dynamic
They way I was holding my breath trying to see if you were getting rid of the original twisted series because I only need twisted games... Also the way you gave away Legendborn without mercy is unforgivable. 🙃
"I did not like this and all I remember is that the guy is named Horse." Bahaha, WHAT? Also, random side note, I literally just finished the Dance of Thieves and I loved it. I hadn't read from Mary Pearson before but I think she is such an incredible author and the word development and history of that series was so, so incredible.
The Stand In by Lily Chu was a solid 3 stars for me, but if you pick it up I highly recommend the audiobook. It's read by Philipa Soo and she did a great job
The Devil's Night series by Pen Douglas is my favorite dark romance series. Corrupt was my first dark romance book I've ever read so maybe I'm biased but I think the whole series is amazing. My favorite is Kill Switch.
I think you would love „the Marionettes-Series“ by Katie Wismer. It’s Vampire Academy inspired and also inspired by all the YA Vampire Fantasy books but adult and spicey 😁
I need to know where these Falling Kingdoms bookmarks came from! I love this series with all my heart! Also, as a person who still reads YA I’m so sad to see some of these go 😂
Please please read gothikana and haunting adeline. I think you'll love both of them. I like the corrupt series by Penelope Douglas book 3 and 4 are my favorite but the first 2 are still good. The audiobooks help since they are so long
I’ve read American Princess and I didn’t think it was terrible, but I also didn’t want to continue with the series when I finished it. There’s some questionable stuff with the FMC being underage in a flashback, and she’s also misled in a way that creates some consent issues. So, it’s not for everyone and I can see how it could really squick some people out With a Lesson in Thorns and the spoiler, the characters don’t know about the spoiler when they are together and it’s not really played as something spicy. It’s more just an explanation of why they can’t be together. Although I haven’t read the last book in the series, so it might have more of what you’re probably trying to avoid.
I have a love hate relationship with the Kate Daniels books, it's very minimal on the romance but some of the urban fantasy plots are kind of cool. I find some of it too disturbing/gory for me, but you might really like that? I keep going maybe I'll DNF after this one and then one plot point will make me want to keep going just to find out what happens 😅
I hated Shatter the Sky. It sounds sapphic and awesome with dragons, but the ending made me so mad and it actually felt anti-sapphic to me (don’t want to say more because of spoilers) and the dragons have a smaller part in the story than I expected.
I haven’t read Corrupt, but I’m almost 100% certain that you will hate Creedence. The FMC’s relationships with every single man in the book are horrible and the “HEA” is with a character that literally abuses her. Also, CW for suicide, cancer, death of a parent, attempted SA, child abuse, drug addiction, emotional abuse, and probably a bunch more I’m not thinking of
If you missed it you can watch part 1 here: ua-cam.com/video/mo7_RN1G84c/v-deo.html
"watch me just keep the gay stuff." GIRL ME TOO 🤣
There's something so therapeutic about watching you buy a book, read the book, and then unhaul it. The full book lifecycle!
Tbf, it's therapeutic watching Riley full drop 😅😂❤
Tbf, it's therapeutic watching Riley full stop xoxo 😅😂❤
This is seriously the most well detailed unhaul videos that exist. I love them. The fact that it’s a series? Be still my beating heart!!!

U should keep it!!
Forest of a thousand lanterns is one of my favorites! Such a good, open ended standalone that never, ever had a sequel. Ever.
I was almost so sad when you were about to unhaul angelfall 😂 I still reread that trilogy to this day and love it
It surprised me that you’re getting rid of Legendborn! I thought it’d be up your alley. Clearly I’m biased because I loved it, sooooo. 😂
Edit: I loved your southern accent. 🤣
Omggggg that southern accent had me rolling 😂😂😂
magic bites is part of the kate daniels series and it's my fave series of all time! it's urban fantasy and it has a great romance and super fun characters and plotlines!
I'm also moving soon and doing the same thing! You've inspired me to be more honest about what I need to keep!
I just unhauled 40 books earlier today and guess what was the first video I saw when I opened YT? This one!!!!
The universe rarely aligns like this for me and I'm loving it!
I love this unhaul series! It’s always so tough getting rid of beautiful covers when you didn’t enjoy the book!
😭 the pearl impression was so good
Magic Bites does have romance but it's slow burn and goes over 10 books.. but it's a really good paranormal series!
If you had unhauled Fallen Kingdoms I would have been shocked. :D I also really wanna reread Strange Grace. Love this bookshelf/unhaul series!
I also have an unread closet that books go to die. 😔 No bookstore close means most of my Adult Fantasy and Romance just sit collecting dust. I really gotta figure out Pango for 2023 😂
Something about you predicting that you won’t get rid of many books makes the unhaul so much more satisfying 😊 loving this series
strange the dreamer is my favorite book of all time so far in book journey I love it so much
Well matched is so good! I dnfd book 2 so I was worried but that one is top notch. It had a himbo hero and the heroine is older and it’s just great I love the dynamic
I would really suggested the audiobook if you're going to read The Project. It was the first book I read this year and I enjoyed it.
They way I was holding my breath trying to see if you were getting rid of the original twisted series because I only need twisted games... Also the way you gave away Legendborn without mercy is unforgivable. 🙃

Love this series so far.
Loving this series with a passion! ❤
This is the best series ever!!!!
Loving this unhaul series 🫶🏼
“watch me just keep the gay stuff.” new favorite Riley quote. 😂
I need to know where these Falling Kingdoms bookmarks came from! I love this series with all my heart!
Also, as a person who still reads YA I’m so sad to see some of these go 😂
I LOVED Magic Bites! Please please please read it! It's a paranormal romance, although it is very very slow burn.
Oh my gosh I LOVED Forest of a Thousand Lanterns!
Please please read gothikana and haunting adeline. I think you'll love both of them. I like the corrupt series by Penelope Douglas book 3 and 4 are my favorite but the first 2 are still good. The audiobooks help since they are so long
I loved Corrupt it was so good. I think u would like it.

Who says get rid of corrupt?! No! Read it. It’s alright (corrupt isn’t my fav) but the rest of that series is 😍😍😍 so you gutta read it
Great unhaul 📚☕🪴
I read Angelfall because of you all the way back then. so cool watching your channel from the beginning! :)
I really love this series of videos !
we needed a sapphic word count for this video 😂
i approve, btw
"watch me just keep the gay stuff" girl me too😂

you are one of my favesss
Impressive unhaul, Riley.
"watch me just keep the gay stuff" - me trying to unhaul anything ever lmao
Keep Corrupt by Penelope Douglas. If you love Four Horsemen series… well you might love it but make it dark romance.
I hated Shatter the Sky. It sounds sapphic and awesome with dragons, but the ending made me so mad and it actually felt anti-sapphic to me (don’t want to say more because of spoilers) and the dragons have a smaller part in the story than I expected.
Omg! Revenge and the Wild is sooo good. It is crazy though. But soooo good. I really hope you read it and enjoy it.
Read Corrupt and the rest of the series.
I LOVE your videos so much💜💜
I’m pretty sure dark and hollow star is adult.
I haven’t read Corrupt, but I’m almost 100% certain that you will hate Creedence. Omg your southern accent 🤦🏼♀️😂🤦🏼♀️😂
Hey if you can mail theme to me I am a big reader
I haven’t even heard of a lot of these 🥲😬
