What a coincidence! I was literally trying to find out what the best options were to buy from yesterday. I don’t have enough to buy one just yet but I was looking into it for the near future
Imperial Workshop is my goto for Xeno. Ship super quick and really good stuff. Galaxy’s Edge sent me a broken saber then replaced it with the wrong one. Never again. CCSabers came with only the standard blades in Proffie. Several cool sound fonts but no matching blades. They told me to take a hike basically. Tony from Ronin Sabers got me squared away.
Replica Sabers: SP Sabers, Roman Props, KR Saber Armory, Jawa's Junkyard, Solo's Hold. Non-Replica Sabers: Sabertrio, Pachstore, Vader's Vault, Bendu Armory, Electrum Sabercrafts, Genesis Custom Sabers, Starfall Sabers, Ignition Saber Co. Just FYI, Korbanth by and large does not produce their own sabers. They mostly are a reseller for 89sabers, and occasionally will collaborate on runs with shadowfoil props. Also, Saberforge is close to 50% lgt/nexus at this point. Originally only their youngling line was LGT, but over the last 2 years they've replaced a lot of their apprentice and eco lines with LGT. The most reputable LGT/Nexus saber shops are Darkwolf Sabers, Vire Sabers, Padawan's Outpost (UK), Rebel Sabers, and AusSabers (Australia).
I ordered a "Tavros" thin neck saber w/ pixel blade and proffieV2 soundboard ,from DarkWolf Custom sabers. I HIGHLY recommend them. Great communication and super helpful where needed.
@@WWIIREBEL The owner of Darkwolf (Johnny Collado) is one of the few American resellers that's a full partner with Nexus, so his shop always has the best/biggest selection, and their customer service is on point. Johnny's an OG in the saber community.
Why isn't Sabneo in the list? They've got the best price on a fully featured neopixel blade and it even comes with free shipping and a lifetime warranty
Try imperial workshop, sabertheory, and the saber factory! I’ve always wanted to see what you think about those companies to see which one I would want to try for my first neopixel saber! 😎
Ended up ordering a Saber from Saberforge, with the Golden Harvest pixel board. Super excited, getting it soon too!!! Do you have any experience with a saber like this?
I’m not the biggest fan of the GH board. But they are similar to the other top boards. You can modify sound fonts and effects. A lot of people like them though.
Is there an update to this list for 2024? Would NSabers, and Artsabers make the list? I’m sure im missing more but I’m looking for my first one 🥹 going for a Revan costume for Halloween I hear neopixel or proffie are good.
Not having the vest experience with artsabers. How long did you wait for you saver because its been nearly a month for me with no update besides a few responses from my emails
Just now subscribed. I know this is 2023 and replica's, but i was thinking of getting a theory saber piece. How do you feel about those? Btw, i heard you mention hottoys, i would love to pose up one of your star wars hottoys together! 🤗👍🏽
I don't get this. I know ultrasbers isn't everyone's favorite, but considering how popular they are, not getting a mention seems odd to me. my ultrasabers experience has always been great. i've gotten responses within the day, if not the hour sometimes when i've had to reach out for customer service. they're great dueling sabers in my mind, and their blades are really durable considering how much i've put mine through over the years. perhaps they changed their practices recently or something. sure, their hilts are basic, but i don't really mind that when my focus is dueling and non-complex hilts help with grip and balance.
Maybe things have turned around with them. My experience with those sabers have not been great. Every time the saber has failed on me within a few months. My Disney park sabers hold up better. I think they are popular because they are the cheapest and they appear at many conventions. But after my last one, I’ll never buy from them again.
Taansi There! Thanks for the video. As a dancer and performer, I'm looking for a solid replica lightsaber that is also built for flow work and dueling. Do you know if any of these you recommended are focused on performance with the lightsaber?
Have you done any light saber combat? (The saber legion, saber light knights) . I do competitive combat with light sabers ( with the above organizations). I am not a prop guy. My main focus is durability and how easy to use in competitive combat. I have found Mando corps. And shabby sabers much better than anything else especially the ones that are more mainstream. What have you dealt with?
@@BrooksVlad I haven’t used Mando Corps or Shabby sabers before. I’ve never heard of them. To be honest I’m more of a collector of sabers and I do some spinning and sword training for exercise and just to learn art. I’ve never done any combat.
I ordered a saber years ago with them and the electronics stopped working maybe a month after I had it. Took it apart and noticed that the sound board was fried. Also later noticed they used a really basic and cheap sound board. Which meant the soundboard I actually payed for was taped along side the other electronics doing nothing. I confirmed this by wiring it up and making it work again.
Ultrasabers has been running into a lot of quality issues the last few years and their customer service has dropped with it. The first and only saber I got from them came in weeks late and not working. Customer support was basically no help, they told me that I must have done something to break it because them getting delivered broken was "very rare". I will never buy another saber there again.
They are not a place I'd recommend. They have years of past bad customer service/support. products failed a lot of people. Their tech is sort of outdated (though they are catching up). They charge for "add-ons" ,like a proper switch or a cover-tech knob (items that should be a standard/included item, and not an added separate charge). Many of the "known/character hilts" are made sort of bulky/chunky , though they do have some non screen accurate, plainer looking or elaborate skinnier designs.
Surprised you haven't tried Crimson Dawn yet. I own several of their sabers and love them. Also their customer service is very very good. Not to mention the prices are very affordable
I really like Crimson Dawn, having purchased from them in person. Good products and service. They're one of the many vendors of LGT hilts from China though, and in the video he mentions those companies at 8:08, noting that there are more than he can keep track of
@@HyperdriveStarWars I haven't had any experience with them yet.
