    Please don't die before I start using one of those, lol. I can still buy some time with the amount of hair I have now, and tbh your system units are the best I've seen, hands down. They're so good that I wanna lose my hair even faster cuz I'm now living the fuzzy grey period where hair is still there but literally can't be styled no matter what. My stupid skull won't let me rock a bold head too, lol.

      @@mgfordhairreplacementstylist Even when you put the old unit on it still looked good. You still had a good amount of hair even though the top was thin. When you got the new hairpiece the same thing is going to happen. Every time you brush the hair, hairs fall out and they don't grow back. Eventually, you need a new unit again. Another problem is when you keep washing the unit the hair starts to fade and then you have to start coloring it. More of an expense. Lucky for you, you know how to cut hair and attach it again.

    Looks good and very realistic ..i honestly don’t think the vast majority of people would know ..I guess until a cure come out (I won’t hold my breath)..then this is the most viable and convincing option ..what puts me off though is the maintenance and frequent visits to the hair dressers to get it blended in when back and sides outgrow the system!

    Hey Mike do you not have an issue with the darts or folds, whatever they are called on a system? It drives me crazy… it makes the lace twice as thick in those areas and there is no reason for it. Basically no one needs the lace to be stitched into a bowl shape since we all cut them and they become flat afterwards. They work just fine flat so can we just stop with darts already?? Agree or disagree? Anyone?

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  Рік тому

      so with stock systems they are cut down to size so i agree no need for the pleates.. but with custom made bases they are not cut down, they are contoured to match your head perfectly, so they have the pleates inorder to retain the contour/shape..just think 6 months of taking it on/off/on/off will make non pleated bases stretch and baggy and wont sit flush anymore...the pleates keep the perfect shape which is especially important for the flat/flush hairline look/fit

    So this is how you keep your hairline from lifting, that’s a significant amount of lace at the front and looks great but The one big problem I foresee though is you can’t get tan. The lace line would stick way out if you got a tan. I can’t not be tan in the summer

      @@mgfordhairreplacementstylist Not when you tan easily. It’s actually the best possible way to get vitamin D which the majority of people in the world are deficient and a good tan makes you look better. You also didn’t address the question really. You just completely avoid the sun? Does the lace block all sun rays or can you still get tan through it? Your hairline looks better and holds better than everyone that cuts right up to the hairline but any tan will completely give it away so I don’t see a way around this.

      @@sammmuelspaul1946 skin cancer is horrendous and close to my heart... its no light subject. As great it is to be tanned..in my opinion its not worth the risk..the lace will stop tanning 100%, therefore reduce the chances of developing skin cancer, ..there are ways to get a facial tan on your face and wear a system...yes!, when you remove the system you will have a tan line ...but you would need to reattach the system in its original position on the tan line, for it not to look odd

    taking the advantage of already being online, may I ask all you gorgeous people on the channel: my walker tapes started messing up with me 😳 it gradually came down to a WEEK of bond before I need to change it! it’s insane (?) there was a period in my life (a month ago) where I changed the tapes and after 4 (four) days I had to do it again. (different country, different climate?) is WALKER starting making rubbish tapes now? does anybody use WALKER TAPES?

      climate is key along with lifestyle...i personally have not noticed any issues with walker prods....what tape type are you currently using from walkers?

I’ve been using the ULTRA HOLD for about 2 years now, do you think my skin got “used to it”? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I changed nothing in my lifestyle. I exercise less & don’t dive (gym/pool have been closed for a while)... So... it is quite a mystery to me... 🤔 the 4days hold incident was in a different country, during the winter time 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I can’t understand how you can get iChat a great attachment with zero lace showing and zero lift when you pull on the hair. I can’t for the life of me make that happen

      its a combination of a great product in our lace systems. lace colour matched to scalp....and knowing the right layering of the glues

    You are definitely not gentle with your unit if you didn’t yank it and pull it and over style it so much you’d probably get at least a couple more months out of it
