Awesome video! I really like every min on the min. I started doing EMOM with weighted pull-ups after my bench and OHP, started with 25lbs and now I'm up to 50lbs. It's really has improved my pull-up strength. Maybe I'll start doing front squats EMOM after deadlifts.
" When intensity goes down, frequencity goes up" Is something like 70% 5 times a week- 75% 4 times a week and 80-85% 3 times a week something that could work fine in Your oppinion?
Is there a certain percentage you base this weight off of? Or do you just pick a sub-maximal weight by feeling? I like how you add in work capacity as a factor for these. Might look into adding something like this in.
I'm picking my weights by working backwards from the meet and setting myself up for what I need. Speed work is best between 55-75%. This is 59.7% for me.
That 59.7% figure was off my gym pr which is 863. Which is no wraps with belt. But like I said I'm not basing my own training off %s just off what I need to do to hit the numbers I want.
Great insights, thanks Chad as always
100% agree with what you said about the belt. All that matters is that it feels lighter. If your worried about abs do extra work that targets them.
awesome vid, keep em coming
Thanks chad !
Thanks for that men

What are those shorts you're wearing over the compression pants? And do you recommend any?

OK figured that was about the percentage you were using here. Thanks for the quick reply and information.
Chad are you basing this off your raw unwrapped beltless max weight, or based on your wrapped belted PR?

Thanks for the reply, totally understand what your saying. Good baseline to tinker with thanks
