A huge amount of time, effort and expertise went into this video, probably the most single complete video on the topic for our community so I’d like to thank my mate who made this happen. Cheers and enjoy.

Top video mate, great instruction. Spent some time back in the 90's going down a similar rockface in the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney, Australia. Had a couple of excellent instructors and it wasn't long before I was getting down in one or two bounds. To anyone watching I totally recommend having a go at it, it's great fun. P.S. I've always wanted to fast rope from a helicopter, that would have to be the ultimate experience.

Another excellent vid mate. Great thing about the ATC Guide is that you can use it in guide mode to prussik back up the rope, so largely eliminates the need for an ascender if you don't want to pack one.

Echo, love your content & your Pathfinder mate, as well! Great to find another aviator who digs this, and who values the freedoms of USA. Rappelling as a team is as important as repelling the opposition as a team.

Excellent vid l ! Well presented. It is an incredibly useful skill. I've mentioned to a few people I've talked with about survival that becoming familiar with basic rock climbing techniques can be a real game changer in some scenarios. It's also good for your brain. Or at least mine. It's very centering. Meditative. In several Elk hunting situations, it came in really handy knowing I could solo climb out the end of a canyon to pursue game or just save miles backtracking. So far, Echo Mike is completely nailing it with his variety and quality videos that average people will find useful.

Great video! Going down with a ruck and weapon is fun. Nothing compares to rappelling with your buddy on your back which totally sucks ballz. Talk about having to have faith in your equipement and buddy beliving in you. Cheers! 🥃🍻🪂🫡🏴‍☠️🇺🇸
