I was able to change the cable without removing the water box, the starter, the e-box, and the exhaust manifold. You have to tape the end of your old wire to the end of your new wire and pull it through from the engine bay to the outside.
Is this cable indeed reversible? I bought my ski from a buddy and he installed a new cable yet the steering doesn't have full range of motion. It stops short on one side even though both ends are fully adjusted out. Cable seems sufficient in length, im thinking maybe it's on backwards if the ends aren't universal?
Duuude i was hoping to see the reinstall bc I cant get that “C-ring” to slide on the cable under the ski at the back. I know its to keep the cable in place and thought it sat in that one metal notch down there..
i always have problems with the pipe falling off so i use locktite and torque properly every time. it got to the point that i actually drilled the bolt heads and put lock wire on them.

I had cable in backwards. C-ring fits on one side only 😮. Thx for filming n posting the removal tho!
@@bikerboysdotcom no worries sorry for missing the install part. some times i get carried away and forget to film.
Did you torque the exhaust manifold or just snug it?
