she is ready to be concept of Hope to erase all witch concept in multiverse but madoka sacrifice her own human existence made all memory people who know her will dissapear except for homura or for some magical girl....
These are my speculations for all the wishes that the past magical girls might have made throughout history... Some wishes may seem harmless, but they create huge ripples. I try to only list the female historical figures who had 'suspicious or unfateful' ends. They are just speculations, please be kind. 1. Jeanne D'Arc : "I wish for a power to bring light to France" (As established in 'Tart Magica' saga) 2. Cleopatra : "I wish for true love from a man who's deems worthy of my deep real self, not just my shallow façade" 3. Himiko : "I wish no more harm shall befall upon the people in my kingdom" 4. Anne Frank : "I wish to go on living, even after my death" 5. Lady Jane Gray : "I wish the dispute over my family throne would just be over" 6. Duchess Anastasia : "I wish I can do whatever I want!" 7. Amelia Earheart : "I wish my life can always find excitement." 8. Pocahontas : "I wish father would just hear me out" That's all I know, if anybody knows more I'd love to hear it.
I think it'd be interesting if Anastasia was able to somehow fake her own death / escape execution and went on to live a new life. Either by a wish or her power as a magical girl.

I love this song I put my headphones in while my parents are fighting and I can hear violence but it really helped me calm down and the singing is beautiful
You performed the whole instrumental too!? That's wonderful. Haven't come across such a talented instrumentalist since Erutan. Your vocals were beautiful too! You only have the one video though? 😥
Yep, sure did! Thanks so much Jordi! I'm happy you mentioned Erutan, I've been a fan of her work for pretty much a decade. I'm working on getting more videos out, but I'll admit I'm not the speediest! I do have a completed Chrono Cross arrangement which is going on an OCRemix album, so hopefully in the next few months I can upload that here too. Thanks so much for listening and taking the time to comment! :)
Earth Kid Yasunori Mitsuda's soundtracks are legendary so I can't wait to hear that :) I think it's been ten years for me too since I first came across Kate's music!
The though of historical figures having made a contract in their youth like 'what if' hidden depths honestly was something making me coming back to this anime and why its in my top faves. There so many interesting plot points that can connect to IRL events and mythology, that and the symbolization is just fascinating to me.
I shudder to think what Gilles de Rais did in this universe, like i have yet to understand how their universe works properly but considering his actions after Joan of Arc died, safe to say her sacrifice was not all good either
your sentence reminds me of one that Sirius Black said to Harry Potter, in the 5th movie if I'm not mistaken. He knows that a horrible thing has happened to the parents of one of Harry's friends. As they look at a photo of the Order of the Phoenix members, which Neville's parents participated in, Harry looks sadly at them when Sirius says the names of Neville's parents, he tells Harry this: "They had a worse fate than that Death, if you want to know." I'm just not going to tell you what happened to Neville's parents, because he would be a big spoiler.
@@nonameprivate4689 The writer of Madoka also wrote S1 of Psychopass that has a villain similar to Monster (in a way). He is also a Monster without a name. In fact, he become a monster specifically because the society doesn't recognize him as one.
Imagine that a girl wishes for every alien in existence to experience emotions with the same, or greater intensity than any magical girl recruited due to their emotional requirements being met. Just imagine that.
Would that even be possible? (Boutta live up to my profile pic here. Get ready for some serious analysis.) Whoever makes that wish would have to have a lot of magical potential, like Madoka. Plus, the ramifications of such a wish could prove disastrous in the long run. Assuming the wish is granted as the girl intended, the Incubators would feel emotion, but that would majorly impact the system. Remember, the Incubators were trying to hold off the heat death of the universe. Their emotional detachment is actually highly beneficial to their cause. If Kyubey felt too much attachment or sorrow towards magical girls, he'd likely try to prevent them from becoming witches, which might seem good at first, until you remember that both witches and magical girls are necessary for the system to work. Eventually, the whole thing would likely break down. Though it's also possible that the Incubators themselves could provide emotional energy, which would definitely be a benefit. They'd still have to form contracts in order to gain the ability to feel emotions, of course, but there would still be an additional source of energy for the Incubators to use. Overall, though, I'm still not sure if the benefits of this wish would outweigh the risks. Yes, there are some positives, but there are also a lot of negatives. Like everything in MadoMagi, it's a balance between light and dark, good and bad, hope and despair. (See? Told you there would be some serious analysis in here.)
@@andromeda_va39 That's a lovely analysis to my little thought experiment--of sorts. I'll have to give a proper reply later if I have time, since I have work now. ^^'
Took me about an hour to write this and I thought that it would be a waste to just leave it in the reply section of a random comment. Let me know what y'all think, especially about point 3: It wasn't that their wishes were selfish but instead that wishes themselves are selfish. By making a wish, no matter what, you acknowledge that there's something you want to the point that you would basically cheat to get it. Kyubey didn't give a shit about the wishes because he didn't have to. The moment that they made their wish they were doomed no matter what. Not because they were selfish but because they were human. It wasn't selfishness that they were exploiting but what fundamentally makes humans themselves. They targeted the unjaided, inexperienced and Idealistic because they wouldn't reject the very notion of what a wish is. These girls literally couldn't refuse the offer. Only after they made the wish would they realize that the wish itself was a fallacy. All of these girls were specifically targeted too. I have no doubt that the moment that Madoka heard about the wish, that she would ultimately become a magical girl and then a witch. Same with any of the other girls. The Kyubey knew their targets. The game wasn't just rigged from the start, calling it a game would imply that it ever had a win condition. 2nd point The only Magical Girl who was the exception was the one who ultimately broke the system, Homura (I say broke the system because with out Homura, Goddess Madoka wouldn't have been possible). Out of everyone we see, she was the only one who didn't immediately want to choose a wish immediately without any outside interference. She was sick or whatever but she didn't wish for health. Homura was just happy that she was out of that goddam bed and had friends. She was content. It wasn't until Madoka straight up died that she decided to make a wish. Madoka was a prerequisite for her wish. Homura finally had something she wanted and had a seemingly god-like entity who could give it to her. Unlike the other girls, if you erased Madoka from the start, Homura wouldn't have made the wish. I don't even think the Kyubeys were even interested in Homura in the first place because Homura probably wasn't a target until Madoka died otherwise those little bastards would've hounded Homura as much as they did Madoka. Plus, unlike the others, her wish wasn't an immediate and easy one and rather to obtain the power for her to change things with her own hands. I personally think that when it comes down to it, Homura just a rouge element in the Kyubeys perfectly well oiled loli death machine. However, even Homura succumbed and became a witch and I think it was because she had the chance to actually be a human and do regular human things. 3rd point It ultimately doesn't matter who became a goddess, witch or demon because in the end they all lost or will lose. It doesn't matter that Homura travels back in time over and over again because she ultimately NEVER actually saved Madoka. It doesn't matter that Madoka created a paradox of Madoka preventing becoming a Witch by consuming her own despair because Homura made that shit unstable. It doesn't matter that Homura became a demon because she is ultimately still going to lose Madoka which is how she became a witch in the first place. In the end, they ALL lose. And the Kyubeys can probably still harvest the aftermath. Everyone except the Kyubeys WILL lose. Who is to say that even the Kyubeys wont lose as well but as far as we know, the Kyubeys are the only group on the board with a winning hand. IF they just survive Homura and Madoka, they WILL come out on top. Rebellion does NOT have a happy ending. Neither Homura nor Madoka win. Homura basically flat out states that what they have right now is a stalemate (which, to her credit, is more than any other Magical Girl can claim). Homura's final act before becoming a Demon was to just flat out AVOID losing. What we have at the end of Rebellion is a 3 way tie between Homura, Madoka and Kyubey. If Homura "wins", the balance is broken and the Kyubeys are free from the Law of Cycles and free to harvest witches. If Madoka "wins" The Law of Cycles is repaired and the Kyubeys WILL eventually end up control it and make witches (as in Rebellion, they said that they were already trying to control the Law of Cycles and successfully managed to creat a witch AKA Homura). Either way, if nothing is done about the Kyubeys, they will end up winning. 4th point If either of Homura or Madoka actually cared about the magical girls then they would simply commit genocide and wipe the Kyubeys from existence across all time. Homura almost did but chose not to (I don't know why because she's been trying to kill them from the start. They're too dangerous to be left alive). No need to save magical girls if there was no little shits making them in the first place and you don't have to save Madoka if magical girls never existed. But I guess that's why the Kyubeys targeted young girls. Their crime wasn't selfishness, it was being human and as long as the magical girls are bound to their humanly desires, the Kyubeys win. This is just a prequel. War is coming. The show ain't over. Wake up sheeple (jk, took me am hour to write this so at least give me one joke but in all seriousness the Kyubeys are still the biggest problem)
I agree with your points except for the second point. Homuras is the most selfish one just hiding behind a curtain of love. She could have wish that all of her friend return to life but instead she wishes to return back to a point so she could do everything again and thus not feel so useless. I love Homura but she is selfish, in the movie Rebellion we got to see more of that side of Homura
@@josegamarra3532 ah true but it's important to realize that she didn't start that way. Unlike everyone else, it took her quite a while to even consider making the wish. Even though final loop Madoka didn't make her wish until late, we know that she 100% would have if it wasn't for Homura's interference. She was just happy she had friends and they were pretty much everything to her so when they died, you can start to see how she started going off the deep end. People often forget that she started out with literally nothing, obtained something that she desperately needed and then watched it fall apart very slowly and then started to spiral (which is exactly how one becomes a witch). In a way, I guess you could say that she turned into a witch the moment she lost her last friend (Madoka) because her only wish at the start was to have friends and her karmic retribution was to watch them all die. The wish that she made to the Kyubey was when she decided to abandon her humanity and replace it with obsession and despair. In that sense, her demon form is what happens when a witch becomes what is the equivalent of a witch is to magical girls. Her original wish was innocent and her wish to the Kyubey was corrupted. Could you imagine what the other girls would wish for if they got a second wish after they either already made their wish or turned into witches themselves? I'd probably more twisted than what Homura made. Hell, if you consider the "curse" that she was about to create in preventing the Kyubeys from messing with the law of cycles as her third wish in Rebellion, even that was pretty tame compared to what she could have done. The simple fact of the matter is that she has repeated the cycle of hope turning into despair more times than anyone could even count. Even after her cycle turned Madoka into a literal God it continues. It carried over to the new universe and into her soul gem/grief seed world. She even tried to commit suicide at the end of Rebellion using the other magical girls saying that they'd kill her before her witch form could do any real damage to others, which was ended up denied by Goddess Madoka. Is it any real surprise that she snapped the way that she did? That kinda of permanent death was most likely the best way out of that cycle and unfortunately, The Law of Cycles, the Kyubey's and her own twisted obsession prevented her from ultimately escaping her own hell. If she allowed herself to be actually saved by Madoka then we'd be back at step one of rebellion. If she did nothing with the Kyubey's then they would ultimately mess with the law of cycles and she would pretty much immediately turn into a witch and as long as she wasn't a witch and was still alive then she'd find some way to bring back Madoka because at this point her literal reason for living is for that sole reason alone and she already tried to dieing and turning into a witch. This was most likely the best and only option available to her if she ever wanted to get out. At the very least, she finally became a power that could force both the Kyubeys and the Law of Cycles to a standstill. Even then, if the Kyubey's could find out how to keep her suffering going, imagine how much energy they could get out of her. If they were able to exploit Homura they of probably have infinite God Madoka tier energy anytime they wanted. Kinda went on a tangent there but who knows if at the very beginning with her first wish to the Kyubey if she could have even wished them back to life. She was still a normal girl with probably below average karmic destiny given the fact that the Kyubey's didn't agressively go after her. After all you need a certain amount of karmic destiny in order to pull off a wish and Homura may have not had that to begin with. Madoka was only able to pull off what she did because homura was a perpetual energy machine giving her unlimited amounts of karmic destiny. I won't argue that she's crazy because she definitely is but that is what living through a hellish version of groundhogs day will do to a person. I'm surprised that she didn't turn into flowey or a do Undertale Genocide run yet and that she still cares for the other magical girls, even if it is to the point of not killing them immediately when they get in her way.
honestly, rewatching Madoka and seeing this video, I genuinely sobbed my eyes out. because when you think about all those girls giving into despair, like the one cowering from a bombing, or being carried in a truck that is either full of refugees in search of somewhere, or she's being held captive, and then Cleopatra who rather let herself get bit than be a witch... it hits harder that these are _girls_ , not warriors. they're almost all around 12-16. they're children, and being faced with a reality that adults wouldn't be expected to handle. sacrificing everything, their girlhood, their relationships, their loved ones, to be a saviour when no one will save them, and if they're like Sayaka, Mami or Kyoko, without knowing the full details of the contract. it makes Madoka's sacrifice even kinder, because while these girls shouldn't have had to go through this in the first place, at least Madoka can grant them a kind death.
I remember watching the anime for the first time and was confused as heck, and at the time I didn’t like the art style or the story. The more I got into it I understood on why the story is like what it’s like and this is truly one of the best anime’s I’ve watched in my life.
God this was absolutely beautiful and I'm astonished that this does not have more views than it has! Even the PV was beautifully composed together. You captured all the emotion this composure is SUPPOSED to make you feel beautifully and to a T. Your vocals, your instruments, e v e r y t h i n g. Literally had to wipe away a few stray tears from my eyes towards the ending there. Absolutely phenomenal. The story of Puella Madoka Magica tears at my heart strings more than most series ever have, and I dont care if people say that the aspect of playing around with "time powers" is a cop-out concept when it comes to story writing. When written properly, executed correctly, and laced with the right amount of tragedy it can project a powerful message and that's exactly what PMM does. Madoka sacrifices herself to end the suffering of thousands of magical girls across time. Selflessly laying her own soul on the line to become a protector to those who she cares about, and becoming a martyr so nobody else will have to suffer the same fate. I'm rambling, my apologies. This whole video struck a hard sentimental nerve in me in the best of ways. Thank you so much for blessing us all with this gorgeous arrangement.
it is extremely interesting to see that many of these girls sacrificed themselves. Joanna Darc basically let herself die, because her enormous power would turn her into a horrible witch like walpurgisnatch... Such a sad thing
This makes me emotional and puts me on the verge of tears every time I listen and watch it. Thank you! So beautiful. The video is straightforward yet very effective, and the part where it zooms in/up Madoka making her wish is one of the most powerful moments I've seen in any AMV.
Comments: Wow you really deserve more subscribers. Me: Ah this again. What does she have? 10,000? 20,000? *checks* Me: EXCUSE ME???? This is downright criminal.
Not only is this one of the most beautiful covers I've heard, this is the first AMV in years to give me chills from just how well done it was. Like damn, the editing is phenomenal.
It was already enough that this soundtrack has the ability to bring me to tears regardless of how I was feeling before listening to it, but this is just beautiful. You have such a gift to be able to show emotion through what you make, and this is no exception 💕
i always seem to come back to this particular video for both the amazing cover and the weaving of the characters' stories with it, it would've been so easy to just throw up a still image for the whole video but this tells the story in pmmm that i love so dearly alongside one of the iconic tracks. god i love it
I like the detail where they show Kyoko and Sayak in the soul gem showing images of what happens to them, because when one disappers it shows that they are turned into witches, something worse than death which happens to kyoko, so that’s why Kyoto instead flushed down in despair over Sayaka’s horrible fate
Can we take a moment to appreciate how great the video is? The singer perfectly appropriated the song, but man, the person who mounted the video based on snippets from the series/movies did one hell of a job, too.
I realty like the song when kyubey appear in the scene its started playing ,it's gives me nostalgia like I'm not sure I've watch this when I was young.
First I thought this is just an AMV, until I´ve read your description. Its amazing that its all performed by you!! :) Love your Version and I want to see this anime again :)
For the first time in my life i can't describe how deeply beautiful this is, as if comes from an heart in pain, singing to ease its pain. Just incredible.
Ichigo from Tokyo mew mew would wish for Aoyama (her loved one) to be with her. Sakura from cardcaptor Sakura would probably do the same with Yukito, if not then she would probably wish to see her mother again.
Pretty sure that the moment they find out about Kyubey’s true intentions, then the incubator will have invoked the wrath of magical girls who defeat GODS. And if the boundaries are weakened enough, it may not be just the magical girls striking the demon down, but also the heroes of justice that sacrifice themselves for the sake of others.
This is a song from the anime Madoka Magica. I'd recommend you to watch because the anime has really good songs! And no this isn't the original. This is a cover :)
I'd say it's really worth a watch. Deep story, well-written characters, carefully paced plot, creative and original... You rarely get so much greatness in one place.
Oh wow, I just came back to listen to this again and saw that it's got nearly 1 million views?! I remember when it had a few hundred, my goodness. You deserve it though, this is really fantastic!!
Given that we, as viewers, haven't witnessed the profound impact of holding a grief seed, particularly in the context of the fantastical realm of Madoka, it becomes challenging to truly comprehend the immense burden she carries. However, if we manage to connect with the experiences of the magical girls who face a fate worse than death, then and only then can we begin to grasp the weight of her struggles. It is during these moments that Madoka offers a glimmer of hope, even within a world where their existence seems impossible.
I love this video it gives me a little insight of Magical girls history and the emotions they fell it also gives a good example of the law of cycles wend a magical girl terns in to a witch and then is set free.

The though of historical figures having made a contract in their youth like 'what if' hidden depths honestly was something making me coming back to this anime and why its in my top faves.
There so many interesting plot points that can connect to IRL events and mythology, that and the symbolization is just fascinating to me.

The girl chased for hope become the hope itself at the end.

@@EarthKid ㅡㅡㅡ는 아 네 하면
This, to date, remains one of the best shows I’ve ever seen
Took me about an hour to write this and I thought that it would be a waste to just leave it in the reply section of a random comment. Let me know what y'all think, especially about point 3:
It wasn't that their wishes were selfish but instead that wishes themselves are selfish.
2nd point
The only Magical Girl who was the exception was the one who ultimately broke the system, Homura (I say broke the system because with out Homura, Goddess Madoka wouldn't have been possible).
3rd point
It ultimately doesn't matter who became a goddess, witch or demon because in the end they all lost or will lose.
4th point
If either of Homura or Madoka actually cared about the magical girls then they would simply commit genocide and wipe the Kyubeys from existence across all time.
I had an absolute blast reading your comment. It would be really interesting to see a mass genocide of Kyubee’s spices.
Wow that's actually true , the incubators are the problems.
Holy shit this is underrated

This is too beautiful to describe in words...

Question to think about: If magical girls from other franchises did a contract with Kyubey, what would their wishes be?
Ichigo from Tokyo mew mew would wish for Aoyama (her loved one) to be with her. Sakura from cardcaptor Sakura would probably do the same with Yukito, if not then she would probably wish to see her mother again.
Pretty sure that the moment they find out about Kyubey’s true intentions, then the incubator will have invoked the wrath of magical girls who defeat GODS. And if the boundaries are weakened enough, it may not be just the magical girls striking the demon down, but also the heroes of justice that sacrifice themselves for the sake of others.
Bloom would probably wish for her to be able to live in her own fantasy she dreams of.

Madoka Magica, the anime that make you shed tears.
