The only good things that came from this anniversary celebration imo is the lottery thing where new players have to enter your code, the game flat out giving you Hoya Heart with the Boss Rush event, and (I guess) the Guitar Artifact imo.
You know what code to enter and how it works? I don't understand it. At least I got that Artifact from that lottery or roulette thing in the first spin... I just claim those 5 daily tickets, no idea what else to do in that section..
Imagine if instead of Glitter always jamming In the Neon Mixtape Tour level it was all zombies always jamming and the buffed zombie had their jamming effect buffed

The least bad modifier in my opinion is zombies deal 200% more damage They will always be level 5, or even above that meaning everything that isnt a defensive plant will already die when lightly touched So 200% doesnt matter unless your using defense planses (which doesnt matter since quite a few of these levels ither outright banned defensive plants, or just made their recharge 3 times longer, making them nearly unable to be placed)
These objective really remind me of an event from another tower defense game (Arknights) and How much better they handle that event ( It's called Contingency Contract) compare to this atrocity : . So in that event , quite similar to this , you can choose contract to make a map harder by adding debuff to alliance ,buff to all enemy or a specific special enemy . But here is the deal : the game is more of a traditional tower defense (kinda like BTD and kingdom rush ) , it have a lot more mechanic and gimmick to add into a enemy/environment around the map that force you to take a different approach . For example "stealth' will make a enemy immune to basically anything unless they are block ,dodge for a centain amount of time , deal massive damage around if take enough damage , .... Buff enemy's stat dont make the stage worse but make it more complicated , weak enemy at the start is still weak but put more pressure on your defense early on forcing you to use your resources effectively and act as meat shield for more threatening enemy later , special enemy are tankier so you cant just murder them instantly and force to understand their mechanic ,use the right counter to chip them down over time/ reach them and minilize they destruction . Special enemy in this game dont just put a constantly pressure on your defense ,they do walk around the map or just standing around , MENACINGLY, giving you the chance to shut them down before they reach your main defense and murder everything . The event/game is way too complicated to explain it all under this comment so if you are interested i can make a brief summary of a season of contingency contract under this comment .And thanks for video my guy ,Love from Vietnam (and sorry for my broken english )
The difference is that in CC the mechanics of each event they use are used, in addition to the fact that there is no linear way to reach Risk 18, you can use the combination of contracts that you want

Small Correction: If you want to get all worthwhile rewards you have to get 10 stars max, there are also rewards that require one from each difficulties and such, but none of them require all 15 stars. The profile picture is the thing that requires all the stars.

i think another way they could have balanced objectives was to make more of them but keep the thresh hold the same, that way you have more agency and get to choose the least bad ones, similar to contingency contract which the devs were probably basing this on.

I feel like you were never intended to beat all the levels with max requirements, and they just put a profile pic as your reward so very dedicated players would get something from all that pain. That pfp would probably be the one of the biggest flexes in this game.

I beat all the lvs. I took me 3 weeks to complete. It even sucks with lv 5 plants. At least I have a lot of lv 5 plants. The worse objectives are the seed slot objective and the sun objective. And a 1 hour video from Flag? Thats best.
Didnt know that the chinese version even existed but now i do so unless the levels are like way easier to obtain you are literally locked out of the event unless you get a lvl 4 plant which seems to be 1 below the max
This level of laziness is actually kind of sad. Like, they either didn't have the resources or didn't care to make any good levels, for the 10th anniversary no less. It's like the game is barely holding onto its life, only kept alive by developers who just don't really care anymore.

The chicken buff is a health increase of 500. Levelling probably had something to do with it as well, boosting the health even further.
Yeah, lvl 5 chicken = 15 * 500 = 7500 hp

500 actually refers to HP. In other words, Chicken Wrangler releases 500HP chickens. Tanky chickens
They just ruined the whole point of chickens: having no health, but there are loads of them
500 HP + Level 5 means that these chickens have 7500 HP. This is almost as strong as a Guardgantuar.
