- At about midnight, a line of more than 100 officers stood at attention as two white vans carried two officers bodies from the emergency room at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. to the crime lab. It was silent as dozens of police cars and fire trucks flashed their lights. The only noise was Air One circling overhead. The officers were fatally shot responding to a call earlier in the day.

It’s spring time in NY… probably had a window or two open and an action of a gun would be loud enough to hear if they were near said window. Don’t dive too far into the semantics. Officers were doing their job and will likely be found within policy.

Prayers are answered by faith, that's the way it works, no faith no answer. Now, find me a book or a verse in the Bible were it says if you believe you will feel no pain, or no one will die, or all good things will happen only if you believe, you won't find it. But, it does say pray and pray with faith and it shall be answered, doesn't mean answered the way you want it, but the way God wants it. I agree, it's tough, but that's the truth. I'm sorry you believe prayer doesn't work, it's okay to believe that, but a suggestion, pray as if you believe they're being answered no matter the outcome and you'll start to see all of a sudden, a difference, and faith will rise up and prove itself to you.
