Hi there! System efficiency really depends on the energy source used to generate heated or chilled water, rather than the dimensions of the space. Using a more efficient energy source like an air-to-water heat pump, rather than a gas boiler, will have a greater impact on system efficiency.
In terms of system effectiveness: When designing a system, a mechanical engineer will calculate room-by-room load calculations. From there, we will specify the amount of panels required to meet loads in each room. So that is how we make sure the radiant system will provide enough heating/cooling output.
